Very central village location. Good no-fuss welcome. Our room was a typical domestic bedroom with ensuite facilities - small but complete. Good buffet and cooked breakfast.
(We'd chosen location as near to RHS Hyde Hall - the assorted antiques shops were a bonus!)
nicest tearoom I've been to for a long while, lovely garden setting, as much tea as you can drink, exceptionally good fruit scones lovely cake selection and proper afternoon tea sandwiches, sensible prices, oh and very nice attentive staff.
don't think about it....VISIT.
At last Battlesbridge has a decent tea room! Decor is nice, staff friendly and attentive. We had the toasted banana bread with cinnamon butter, which was amazing and the coffee is good too. Well worth a visit.
