A great place to stay, we only stayed one night, we mixed up the nights and Frasers were excellent about it and booked us in for the next night. I find it quite difficult to sleep even a home and always worry in case I can't sleep, however, Frasers thinks of everything, there are blackout blinds and curtains which a...

We only stayed one night but it was a good choice for our needs. As it mentions in the booking information and on the website, the property is not manned constantly so you need to give a time of arrival and someone will meet you. If you are unable to specify there is a telephone number to ring and as...

Communications prior to arrival were good and my colleague picked up my key for me the night before. I received a warm reception on arrival the first night and those who cooked each of the 3 days breakfasts were always cheerful and friendly (one being a little forgetful on orders but no harm done). Breakfasts were lovely by the way,...

We stayed at Frasers for 4 days in November/December whilst visiting family nearby. We arrived "out of hours" but were met at the arranged time and shown all the facilities. We stayed in the Oak Room in the house and although we understand that this is the smallest room, it was perfectly adequate. It was clean, warm and comfortable with en-suite...

Even though we arrived at the arranged time, there was no one at the property to meet us. We had to call the number by the front door to ask someone to open the door for us. We were shown to one of the stable rooms and there was no heating on and it took several hours for the room...

Thank you for your rather mean review. We are a small family run guesthouse and always advise guests that we are not always on the premises. We are not a hotel but a small guesthouse with a four star guest accommodation rating. We endeavor to maintain good communication with our guests regarding expected arrival times and we are never too...

After booking my room, I was bombarded with emails and texts warning me of the latest check-in is 21:00 as the proprietors do not live on the premises, arriving at 19:15 approx. the door was locked and no one at the reception, a notice near the door asking to ring a mobile No. to gain access, ringing this number I...

Mr Morhaf, thank you for your comments which we do take seriously and I will endeavour to explain our procedures. We are not a hotel offering a 24/7 service but a quality family run 4 star guest accommodation which staffs according to the arrival times provided by our guests. Our latest check in time is 9 p.m. and we do...

Had a lovely stay with friends whilst attending a wedding nearby. Very comfortable home from home. I would definitely book again. The breakfast was great too. We want to go back and visit the Antiques Centre which is vast and is spread over three areas in the hamlet. We only got to see a small part. There are also some...

Battlesbridge is a lovely town with a good collection of antique centres that attracts many visitors. It's 2 hours drive from London, very easy to find. The are two pubs in the area, The Hawk and Barge Inn. We ate at both places, both were very good. (The Hawk has slightly better food) The Frasers is a family run B&B...

This bed and breakfast has been a wonderful find. Situated in a village where every other house is an antique shop, we stay here often whilst visiting our relatives close by. It's warm, clean and the breakfasts are wonderful. The staff are really friendly and the garden at the back is really interesting too, stocked with lovely garden ornaments and...

We received a friendly welcome to Frasers which is perfectly situated to explore all the antique sellers. The bed was comfortable and the shower itself is a good size. Breakfast was great, the bacon looked lovely...sort of made me wish I wasn't vegetarian :) but I had a couple of good quality veggy sausages instead. We stayed in one of...
