I stayed for one night in the hostel cabin. My room was a 4-bed female dorm (bunk bed and two single beds). The room was tiny but very cute and authentic rorbuer style. Not much space though so might be a problem if carrying a lot of luggage. Even though the booking stated that reception closes at 18:00, the receptionist...

We spent one night in a double room, with twin beds and shared bathroom and kitchen. Our room was large and clean, and included a sink, bed linens, and towels. The beds were quite small. It was not soundproof, therefore it was possible to hear everything that was happening in nearby rooms. We couldn't connect to Wi-Fi from our room,...

We did fully enjoy our stay at A rorbuer. It's not cheap but even though it is a good price, comparede to other offers on the Lofoten island. The owner was very helpful and friendly, Particually the authentic village A is a real pearl of authenticity and beauty. The red huts, the seagulls, the blue sea and the friendly peaple...

We stayed for one night in a cabin Tove. It was a part of three cabin row house and had a separate bedroom, bathroom and patio. There was also a small kitchen in the corner of the living room. The terrace especially was nice with evening sun and nice view. Cabin was also clean and there was a big boiler...

I spent one night in the hostel of blue windows. The bed was comfortable. The room and kitchen were OK. What a surprise when I tried to take a shower and there was no warm water and I spent the only token I was given. Yes, you are limited to only one shower like in the past century in Norway....

The price for the area including breakfast and bedlinnen was reasonable. A bit of a youthhostel atmosphere but everything was correct and service and information too. It's a better alternative to choose for a room when there is only two of you.

We had a great stay at this hotel! Very clean, well-organized, etc. It's a reasonable price considering the location in this stunning village/island. FYI, The rooms above the restaurant/bar are far better than renting a cabin because they have outstanding views of the Brygga waterfront and are in excellent shape. The cabins were set back from the water and probably...

I was apprehensive before arriving in A about these rorbuer fishermen's cabins because the reviews were mixed. But this was the least expensive option for our time frame and I knew the location was right. I was not disappointed. We stayed 6 nights in cabin #7 (Mester) that had a private bath with a shower. The cabin has a working...

I stayed here with my partner over the winter low season. Unfortunately, the beautiful scenery and cute cabin was completely ruined by the poor service we experienced at these rorbuer. First of all, the owners did not clear the VERY icy, snowy and steep steps that led up to the hostel rooms, and it was incredibly dangerous. I think they...

Stayed one night in rorbu number 11, Nipingen. Thank god we were alone in the building with 3 bedrooms, one bath, kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were really small and you couldn`t lock the door. There were almost no heating and the radio in the living room didn`t work properly. The walls are really thin so you can hear...
