Our first time in France and our first experience of a French site, we found it to be perfectly sufficient for our needs, not CC standard but we didn't expect it to be. Our pitch was in front of a mobile unit and the people staying there kept walking over our pitch rather than using the path, had we been...

Our family of 4 stayed here for one night in one of the bungalows. I had booked it in a bit of a hurry largely on the basis our kids would like the pool! Only after that did I read some of the reviews and people talking about rules, deposits, cleaning check in arrangements etc. and started to think the...

The campsite is well located for visiting St Valery sur mer with the town centre being a 20 minute walk away. The pitches are level and although not huge were big enough to fit our caravan, awning and car on. The toilet blocks and washing up areas were always clean and well maintained. The pool was also clean if a...

St Valery is a jewel on this part of the coast. The old town, the medieval city, beautiful setting all make this a spot not to miss. There are good shops and restaurants with the usual supermarkets outside the town. Several things to do in town like boat trips to see seals and steam train. Le Walric is a well...

Awful site. Too many static caravans with elderly long stay residents. Everything closed at 6pm, including cafe, reception and pool. Lots of written 'do not's'. On a busy main road, car needed for everything. We didn't feel welcome, the reception staff didn't try to hide their irritation that we were trying to book in as they were packing up to...

Good afternoon, How can you make a fair judgment of the campsite while you arrived by 5 pm and stayed only one night. We are situated 15-20 minutes by foot to the city center. Best regards

This is a good all round campsite both if you are touring or if you want to stay in a static caravan. There are very good facilities and lots to see in the area. It is good for cycling and only three hours from Calais

Where to start? We stayed 1 night on our way back from the Loire. Check in, 2 perfectly nice ladies checked me in but just got the feeling i wasnt being made welcome. Just read me loads of rules! The Caravan was clean and was as advertised. We were located at the back of the site by the road. There...

Lovely campsite with clean modern accommodation. You need to take your own bedding and towels, although they do provide paper covers if it's only 1 night stopover. The pool is very nice, but very limited seating and only open certain times of the day, the dress code is very strict, not clothes except swimwear and only brief style swimwear for...

Chalet and plot were lovely, however... Although guidelines for staying and inspection upon leaving are par for the course on sites like this, it is dealt with in a rather heavy handed way here. Extensive list of rules on arrival, numerous prohibitive signs around the site and laminated signs with lots of exclamation marks in the chalets themselves. My cleaning...
