Sea views in a quiet country setting. Well maintained gardens that edge onto a long golden beach. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. We walked to dunmore east which I recommend and found a secluded another sandy beach along the way.

Frank and I run a B&B in Australia, so I tend to have a fairly critical eye and I can say this B&B is truly lovely. A wonderful old house, spacious and luxurious rooms, welcoming and helpful host, great food and lovely afternoon teas. We loved our stay, including the hugely high four poster bed which was so comfortable! We...

Found this little gem by accident. It was on the "Hidden Ireland" website which I hadn't known about until I started to look for somewhere to go to, that wasn't a hotel. Gaultier Lodge is located in an idyllic spot. It's so peaceful and quiet, a perfect spot to get some well earned R&R. The house and bedrooms are beautifully...

Sheila Molloy runs this beautiful b&b on the fabulous beach at Woodstown. The bedroom was huge, nicely furnished, with interesting books and ornaments. The breakfasts were great, with an array of cereals, fruit compotes, breads and a fry up if you have any room left. Sheila is full of useful information about the area, and recommended and organised a visit...

Another wonderful stay at Gaultier Lodge. Sheila is the most considerate hostess and her breakfasts and teas are wonderful. Lovely rooms with a unique atmosphere and where else can you stroll along the beach in the dusk, climb the dunes and be in bed in a few minutes! Thanks for everything, Sheila.

Hands down, this is THE MOST COMFORTABLE country house in the whole of Ireland. I've stayed here at Gaultier Lodge three times, bringing a new set of friends each time. This house sits facing the beach with incredible views of Waterford Bay, down a country lane that you have to look carefully for. The house has the look and charm...
