Me and my fiancé stayed here for our 5 year anniversary, we chose this hotel because it was cheaper than the average hotel and it was close to the Atlantic City beach and boardwalk. They gave us the corner room, it looked decent until we placed food on the table. We saw ANTS crawling all over the tables, walls and carpet! My fiancé had to literally take the trashcan and wash it out so the ants won’t be all over it. I gave this hotel 3 stars because the ants didn’t personally bother me, and the room service was good. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

We booked this hotel on the day of our one night stay, after spending a full day in Atlantic City casinos. We were looking for something basic, but comfortable, and without spending a fortune at one of the superficially glitzy and fancy hotels on the AC Boardwalk. We checked in at 1 AM and we were just looking for a comfortable night of sleep and shower and breakfast in the morning.
Unfortunately, sleep is what I could not get. Although we had a room (relatively spacious) with a King bed, the sheets kept slipping off and the mattress was too soft and not firm enough for comfort. As if that wasn't enough, we were put in a room with an ice machine and an elevator across a narrow hallway and boy especially the ice machine would not shut up. It kept making crackling sounds throughout the entire night - and the sounds were as audible as though they were coming from inside the room. Thanks to the flimsy mattress and sheets and the ridiculous and constant noise, I got precisely 0 hours of sleep.
The room otherwise was in OK condition. It was decently furnished, albeit in rustic and kind of old style, and the hook on the bathroom door was coming off. There was otherwise a desk, iron board and enough hangers and even a comfortable reading ergonomic chair. The shower was good.
The breakfast was basic; maybe too basic. But it was enough for our needs.
All in all, if I had gotten a great night sleep, I would have given this hotel 4 stars. But I cannot give it more than 3 given my total lack of night of rest after an exhausting day.

My wife and I stayed here to get a cheaper deal than Atlantic City casinos. It looked good from the outside and we were pleasantly surprised with the room. It was a big room with a clean and comfyKing bed. The water pressure (a big thing for us) was great and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. We were very happy there and will probably choose to stay there again. The only problem we had is the walls aren't as soundproof as we'd like and some of the neighbors were a bit loud early in the morning. They also have waffles and omelettes for breakfast as well as the usual coffee/juice/cereal.

I made a last minute booking through hotels.com for 5 people to stay here 2 nights over labor day weekend. When I made the booking the room was advertised as approx $200/night and I didn't noticed when I clicked pay that there was an additional $230 in taxes and fees (thats 50%), approximately $120 of which is for occupancy fees I didn't notice at the time since it's not easily disclosed. The room I booked was a deluxe with 2 queens beds and the pictures show that there is a sofa but when we arrived the room was smaller than the pictures and missing the sofa entirely so 5 people could not in fact fit in this room. I've been dealing with hotels.com for 3 months now trying to communicate with the hotel to get a refund of the additional occupancy fees given that 2 people had to find somewhere else to stay and I was given a different room than what I booked. They have blocked hotels.com's number so it only goes to voicemail. Hotels.com has sent them multiple emails to which they've never replied. Today I was able to reach someone when I three-way called them with hotels.com but they said it was their personal cell phone and they were on break so to call back in 30 minutes. When hotels.com called them in 30 minutes it again went straight to voicemail and when I called there was no answer. It's not acceptable for a business to keep blowing off customers with a valid complaint. This is not a properly-run business and they are ripping people off with hidden occupancy fees and not even providing the product advertised. If you put in any amount of guests over 2 it charges an additional occupancy fee of over approx $50 per person regardless of the price of the room, which is absurd. This is well beyond the state-mandated occupancy tax of 5% and just a flagrant example of hidden fees taken to the extreme. Hotels.com FINALLY refunded the additional occupancy fees today after multiple failed attempts to reach the hotel since it was obvious that the hotel was just avoiding us.

Our 4th of July trip was ruined by this hotel's horrendous service. The staff showed no remorse and prioritized money over customer satisfaction. The manager on duty was incredibly rude and disrespectful.

We had booked a room with two queen beds for one night on the long weekend. Arriving at 11:30 pm, we were told by the night shift manager that our room was unavailable. Instead, he offered a larger room with one king bed and an extra bed. He claimed they hadn't received our booking, despite our prior call. He rudely suggested canceling if we weren't satisfied, stating he could give the room to other customers.

Reluctantly, we accepted the room, assuming the extra bed would be of decent quality. However, it turned out to be in terrible shape and poor quality. Fed up, we canceled our booking. The manager's disrespectful behavior towards my family was unacceptable.

We were left stranded at 1:00 am, ruining our plans for the night and the following day. Being local to the area, we drove back home disappointed.

Our family of four had a terrible experience and wants to warn others:

The hotel's customer service is abysmal, with a focus on money over respect for customers. The manager's rudeness was evident in his interactions with other guests as well.

During busy periods, book hotels in advance and arrive on time. Calling the hotel does not guarantee a room.

The extra bed provided was of low quality, making us feel scammed. Paying triple the regular price should warrant better accommodations.

If booking through an agency, seek their assistance. The hotel management lacks basic human decency, focusing solely on profit. We discovered the manager rented the same room to someone else for four times the price due to high demand.

The room and hotel condition were average, but a negative environment and rude manager can ruin your vacation. Exercise caution when considering this hotel.

Unfriendly person behind the desk. When we went to our room, we found dead ants and dirt on the window sills. Multiple stains on the comforter and carpet. Room was dusty and did. It look clean. After going down to the lobby to complain, I was given another room which was no better. Dead ants on the window sills and an unflushed toilet. I went back down demanding my money back. I was assured by Sam that this would be no problem but because I booked thru a 3rd party site, I would need to call them. I did and the site called the hotel. Upon the 3rd party site calling and speaking to Ron, Ron told them there would be no refund. To say I was beyond annoyed is an understatement. I the. Got Ron to get Sam to the lobby who finally approved my refund. Do not stay here. The pictures in the website are fake as are most of the good reviews I’m sure.

Great stay, friendly staff, clean rooms, a great stay. Will recommend it to stay in when in the area. Easy to find on road, close to stores if you forget something. I believe it’s the best deal in the area.

Booked four nights at this fleabag motel. Woke up with numerous bites. Went to the office to inform them of their problem. I was treated rudely. I would never return there. The absolute worst. Avoid, avoid, avoid. This was motel hell. To give them one star is one star they do not deserve. Bad Karma to the creeper at the office. You are a horrible despicable excuse for a human being.

The manager went into my room after we left the premises without permission or consent claiming he suspected we was smoking! We had spent 24 hours in the room with no complaints from other guests or staff about the smell of smoke. But once we left, management went into the room disregarding the DO NOT DISTURB sign placed on the door, took pictures and recorded the use of the room we were occupying! I was livid.... I never felt so violated! While my husband and I was out he had called the police and they where in my occupied rented room without my permission and without probable cause, with all my personals laying around. He had no right to enter into my room until I checked out, and if he had a issue he could have simply approached me before I left during the 24 hours of me being on the premises, while we were in the room. Why wait until we leave to snoop into the space we rented to ramble through our belongings. He is misusing his title to invade people’s privacy and violate ones civil right! Oh and I never received a phone call prior to us returning that night about the matter. But only, to be approached once returning back at just about midnight to find out I had no where to sleep for the night. All because of management violating my privacy rights as a guest in his hotel was one of the worst nights of my life!
Horrible management....

Sorry for inconvenience, but you guys smoke inside the room, as you know that we are Total NON SMOKING Property and we clearly mention this at the time of CHECK INN. Still you violate the rule and smoke inside the room and in Jetted Tub as well, and you also COVERED SMOKE DETECTOR with Plastic bag in the room, you don't think so that was on high risk of the property and other guests life.So we have to take care of the property and other guests.
