As any traveler knows, it's hit or miss when choosing a motel. This one was definitely a hit. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and the room didn't have that funky smell so many motels rooms have, it smelled clean, not chemically. I would stay here again.
This little place is amazing! Greeted by a very accommodating clerk, check in was flawless. He pointed out vending machines and proximity to WaWa and directions to Airport. Room quite comfortable and super clean! Complimentary bottle of water was welcomed after long day. Room had frig, and microwave along with nice little table and chairs. Mattress was comfortable. Great value and super close to ACY. Will stay again.
I decided to go to AC last minute to see a concert AC with my daughter. All of the hotels on the boardwalk were charging $400+ per night so I looked outside of the area (Hotel is 20 minutes to the boardwalk). However, I know nothing about the surrounding area and was hesitant. The motel's owner was so nice and assured me that the area was safe and that the motel was clean. When we got there she was really nice and offered to let me see the room and decide before giving my credit card. She was friendly, personable, and understanding. The room we wound up in was a handicap accessible room because it was the last room available. It was clean and comfortable. Big bathroom (with enough soap, shampoo and towels), tv, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer. Bed was comfortable and there was a table for two. They left a bottle of water and bag of chips which we found to be a nice touch. Air conditioning worked well. So, spotless room, nice people... I will stay again! Thank you again for a good night's stay.…
Stayed here on a one day visit to the shore it’s a good no frills hotel . Friendly owners , clean , and quiet for the most part .walls are not sound proof though , we Heard the people talking a little . Shower was high enough for a tall person and great water pressure. Also I’m not sure if all rooms are non-smoking ? the one we stayed in on the 2nd floor had a trace of being smoked in (in the past ), but not enough to ask to be moved for the night .
Very clean, comfortable and conveniently located close to the Atlantic City Airport and Stockton University. The proprietors are lovely people. Small thing perhaps, but, this is the only motel I've stayed in that has a proper table with two chairs which made eating in the room comfortable. Not very soundproof so we heard a bit more activity than we bargained for from an adjacent room.
Hotel was clean. Positive interaction from staff. It was reasonable for the money. But I think the amenities need to be modernized. The in room set was one small vending size bag of chips and one bottle of 20 water for two. This kind of down grades how the hotel presents itself. Not a high end hotel chain but good for budgeting , and “ relaxing “ patrons. The gallowAy diner mile down the road put up some decent eats I’d recommend that also.
We were able to save $150-200 nightly by driving an extra twenty minutes to Long Beach Island. Additionally, this location is but seven miles to downtown Atlantic City for those so inclined. It was as clean as we could wish, large HD TV with generous Comcast system options, very comfortable bed and good shower pressure. The host and hostess (possibly a couple?) were each as delightful and supportive as any we've encountered. A solid choice for those seeking strong cost value ratio.
The room was a very good rate. It was more spacious than expected. Very clean and comfortable bed. The staff , Dave and Nena , were very friendly, attentive, helpful and fast to respond. The most important thing to me is cleanliness. I’ve been to high priced hotels that weren’t cleaned properly. I strongly recommend this location. Mike
I was worried because I was unfamiliar with the area. Nice safe area, good clean room with small refrigerator and microwave. Nice and polite at the front desk. Definitely will be back. The heat worked fine. From Virginia glad I didn't have to pay $350 for a resort hotel. I'm using the money I saved to have more fun!
This is not a luxury hotel by any means, so it is only fair to judge the hotel within its class. Within the class of budget motels in honkytonk cities, I think I would give this place 4 stars. We stayed two nights in different rooms (relating to last minute moving around on our part), and for sure this is a clean, safe, and surprisingly quiet motel (second floor at least). The management was very responsive and accomodating. Although we always request non-smoking rooms, one of the rooms did smell like cigarette smoke, and that smell was pretty bad. If I owned this motel I don't know what I would do about it though, some smoker did not follow the rules. If you are in a pinch in this small town and you need somewhere to sleep, then I would recommend this motel. Just ask for a second floor, non-smoking room, and one that does not smell like smoke if available.…
