We stayed at Torre Burchio in August 2017 for three nights. It is a proper Italian Country House. Our room was lovely, authentic and very clean. The view from it was incredible! Very quiet location, in the middle of the impressive mountains. The swimming pool is great. The food was all homemade. We had most of our meals there as it was absolutely delicious! The hosts were great too. We just loved it! A big Thank You to Cristina and her team! Aurore & David (England).

In spite of using a "SmartBox" booking for a one-night, dinner-bed-and-breakfast, the hotelk were most helpful in last-minute changes due to poor weather conditions and advised us to come two days later when we could enjoy the swimming pool and the walks. They were right! A splendid stay - relaxing and most enjoyable. The food was really good and freshly prepared - no problems for two vegetarians with delicious ravioli al tartufo and a mixed salad for a light lunch on arrival, and a banquet of a dinner. Very friendly, sensitive service. Wonderful view from the bedroom over the Umbrian hills/woods. Highly recommended place

We had an EXCELLENT time at Tore Burchio and their sister property just a few minutes away. We visited this property for 5 days as part of a group for close friend's wedding. From before we arrived Marco and his staff were more than helpful getting us to the property as well as arranging babysitters, etc. The property is beautiful and nestled into the hills of Umbria. The views are breathtaking and the the property is secluded and quiet. The pool is gorgeous, there is a small area for kids with a trampoline, a ball pit, small swing set, etc. The food and wine is also outstanding. The staff were so pleasant and helped us with any need. Our friends were married at their sister property which also has a small castle with amazing views and a small, intimate and completely perfect for an event like this. Again Marco and his staff helped with vendors and all the little details which made that night for our entire group and my friends just perfect. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone wanting to have an incredible time in Italy. It's a quick train ride from Rome (or a short drive) with quaint little surrounding towns that make for great day trips. They also create their own red and white wine as well as olive oil which is also superb. I can't say enough good things about Torre Burchio!

Room Tip: All rooms are great and very close to everything as the property is relatively small.

We stayed in the house of friends nearby and decided one rainy night to go to Torre Burchio for dinner. On that Mondaynight they served just the days menu; if there was anything you did not like to eat, you get something else instead. The starter was antipasta, good. Secundi, fantastic filled pasta with tartufo, jummie. The cook came to our table to show the giant tartufo, found in the region. Then some meat (ok) and to end a great trifle. We really enjoyed the food, great value (23 euro for a 4 course meal), superfriendly service. If you stay in Bettona absolutely recommended to have dinner at Torre Burchio!
