This hotel was a lovely, picturesque find, set in the tiny village of Magescq. Although not for those use public transport abroad as the hotel is really in the middle of nowhere so you will need a car. The rooms are beautiful as is the rest of the hotel with a fabulous pool and spa room. However, it is not...

My husband had planned our 25th wedding anniversary in such a way that we would travel through France. One of the places he had chosen was Relais de la Poste in Magescq, especially because of its 2-Michelin Star restaurant. We chose the Grand Menu of the Summer, and it was SUPERB! Everything was fantastic. Initially, I was a bit unhappy...

First time visit. We stayed four nights. Our stay fulfilled all our expectations. This "institution" is worthy of the tradition of French top hospitality and haute cuisine. The staff combines high professional standards with warmth and friendliness. A must if one visits this region of France

Charming hotel but dinner did not meet our expectations. Welcome and service was OK but not more and food was exessive, and to rustik for our taste. Great garden and own wineyard next door. Great winelist!

Close (15min with car) to the beaches and Golf of Moliets et Ma. Possibility of eating Gourmet menu in the house or in the Auberge in the residence. We had a excellent...

This was booked as a birthday treat through relais and chateau and started badly when we could not get our car parked because there was a big group in at restaurant. We had booked junior suite and were advised that we had been given slightly bigger suite but when we arrived at room there was no welcome letter, water fruit or...

It is important to separate the hotel experience from the restaurant. See my review for the restaurant. The hotel decor is a little outdated ... 70s / 80s charm. Staff were very friendly & room 5 was a large room with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the mosaic hammam. Breakfast was the only disappointment, especially after having enjoyed a most...

We went for an evening meal to this on recommendation and WOW it was fabulous. The wines were paired exquisitely with the food and the final wine with the grand marnier soufflé was outstanding. The fish, the meat, the service and overall a place to treasure and return.
