First of all it is in a very well hidden location. It took us four hours to find the place from the forest. Luckily dad spotted the helpful lady who owned the rustic mill. As soon as we got there, I thought I was staying in a palace: a magnificent house an eighth of the size of the Eiffel tower,... More

What a beautiful place. We were a small family and had a lovely place on this gorgeous property. IT was so hot this summer, and the pool was divine. Clean, large, refreshing, and barely anyone there. Well appointed houses. Guy and Gaby are great, ready to take care of any of your needs. Only thing I would like is a/c.... More

Nice hotel, conveniently located close to both Avignon and Carpentras and good for exploring the Provence. Having a car is a must as there is absolutely nothing in the close neighborhood. Staff is very warm and friendly and they help you wherever they can. Very nice cuisine with enough choice to please anyone. On the min: for a 3-star hotel... More

We had our wedding reception and pre and post celebrations at the Moulin de la Roque over 2 weeks in October 2012, and it was the most magical time of our lives. The rooms were fantastic, the location nothing short of perfect and the food was the best we came across in the Provence region (and as good as anywhere... More

I have travelled around France for many years, but have always missed Avignon on my travels, and this year was the year that I was going to rectify this anomaly. My partner and i decided to drive down to the south of France taking in the sights, the wine, the cheese and a little history en-route, with a 5 night... More

Very pretty girl receptionists & waitresses! Wonderful family run hotel. First class service. A couple of acres of beautiful grounds. Stayed more than a week, loved every minute. The hotel is a former mill, with a fantastic history, and is one of the earliest mills in the district. Excellent wifi, breakfast to die for, and an exquisitely beautiful outdoor area.
