For my work I stay at the Admiral Hotel about 10 times a year.... already for over 7 years. Rooms are good and clean. Breakfast offers a lot of choices, includ. fresh coffee (ask the ladies) and pressed juice. In the summer they have a nice roof pool and they also provide sauna and a gym. I travel a lot within Europe and the Admiral is my favorite of all.

Bathroom very clean and new Breakfast with a very good selection of choices and starting at 06h30 (giving me time to actually have a proper meal brfore leaving to work). The restaurant has some good choices (with also a reasonable wine list)

Response from oscar B, Direttore at Admiral Park Hotel

Dear Sir, I am writing in order to answer your comment concerning your stay at Admiral Park Hotel and we are sorry for what happened to your car. Our parking lot, very large and private, at free disposal for our guests, is not guarded, as mentioned on every sign in that area. Our cameras are placed to film the entrance doors of our building and there are no cameras in other areas surrounding the hotel (for example: the parking lot). This is the reason why our Receptionist suggested you, for the next night, to park your car in front of the main entrance -where the Reception is placed- after calling your assurance to know if that would be fine for them, in order to avoid more damages to your car. Furthermore, our cameras videos can be shown only with a police authorization, after regular denunciation. Therefore, there are no other action we can take for what happened. I renew my regret for the damage suffered. Best Regards Oscar Bertoni – General Manager ADMIRAL PARK HOTEL

Great place with decent size rooms and very tranquil location. Very much left to your self, do remember to take your room towel for pool, the lifts are a bit confusing . Best breakfast selection with outstanding juicers.

So we travelled to the area for work. Upon our arrival we were told the restraunt is closed today due to a pool party??? But we can choose from a menu at the bar. I had lasagne and a work friend had chicken. The lasagne was still frozen and the chicken was rather pink. We asked the waiter to please rectify this. 5 minutes later we heard 2 pings of a microwave and then our food arrived. The restraunt for the entire week was not open so we refused to eat in the bar again. We took a trip to the pool area 2 days later and had a dip. The lack of cleaning in the pool area resulted in ear infections. We were both bitten severely on every night in the bedrooms and not by mosquitos. Upon us leaving and packing away our clothes I dropped a item on the floor. Up on retrieving the item I happens to notice something under the bed... it was at least 5 huge wasp / hornet looking things all dead. Really really terrible hotel. I would not recommend sending your worse enemy to stay in this hotel. 4* more like 1*

Dear Mr. Craig, I am writing to answer to your comment concerning your visit to Admiral Park Hotel. We are sorry to hear that your stay at our establishment did not meet your expectation. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as every day we strive to improve the stay of our guests with the suggestions we receive. • In this period, our restaurant is closed (only 4 weeks all over the year), but is available for our guests a restricted menu at the Lounge Bar. We propose some meals prepared by our chef before, conserved in a good way, cooked and served by waiters in our Bistrot (p.e.: lasagne) and some others cooked at the moment. • According to your complaint about our swimming pool, you can be assured that water is regularly checked and till now nobody has complained about its clarity level. Certainly, bringing this matter to our attention, I will personally take necessary steps to prevent it from happening in the future. • Our Hotel is situated close to the nature and surrounded by lots of trees. Consequently, we contact the Disinfection Group Service monthly to keep our hotel clean. We accept full responsibility and I assure you that I will find the opportunity to inform all my employees about the issue. As you may know, providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and hearing we have fallen below that standard is something we like to address immediately. We are really sorry you did not discuss this matter with our staff. I hope you can forgive this inconvenience and not let it stop you from staying with us in the future. To prove you that we take every complaint seriously, we offer you a voucher valid till 30-06-2019 with bed and breakfast free at a convenient period for the hotel (not full booking). We hope you will see the improvement and enjoy your time with us in next visit. Please contact us if you have any further questions or comments concerning your stay. Yours sincerely, Oscar Bertoni – General Manager Admiral Park Hotel.

This hotel is in a quiet location in the hills southwest of Bologna. It is a short walk across the river to the village of Rivabella, where we had a nice meal one night. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The front desk all spoke English very well, and several other staff spoke English better than we spoke Italian. Breakfast was expansive with fresh fruit, various cereals, different yogurts, dried fruit, meats, cheeses, pastries, a machine to squeeze oranges for juice, automated espresso machine, and more! Room 417 doesn’t have much of a view, but it was very quiet. The room was spacious and clean, and the shower and bathroom were large, clean, and well supplied. We enjoyed our 2 nights here, and would stay again the next time we visit Bologna.

This is definitely more of a business hotel, its quite a drive out to Bologna and no restaurants in the vicinity so resulting in using restaurant in hotel. Rooms were tidy and clean, although there was an error of all three rooms that were booked. Reception staff was helpful and friendly. The last night there was a "pool party" going on, residents were not advised, loud banging music could be heard in the restaurant, outside as its a rooftop pool and in reception and bedrooms until after 12.15am. which wasn't good. Restaurant food was ok, but service very slow and many items unavailable to order even on a saturday night with very few people sitting at tables. The Bar staffs young lady was the most helpful person you could find, when we couldn't order bar food because of a party she tried her best to accommodate us as well as organise set up for party on her own. The Staff in the Breakfast room were the most rudest people i have every come across whilst staying in a hotel. One particular lady, watched over everyone like a hawk, what you were eating ,watched you whilst eating , if fact watched you constantly and what you were taking out with you!!! The reaction when asked for two lattes was a look of disgust as if you asked for something out of the ordinary. We had over 600 miles to drive and were leaving at 7am that day, hence it was a quick cup of tea and a croissant, so when we put two little packets of biscuits in our bag to take with us she pounced on us(YES pounced on us!!) and told us we couldn't take out!! We had paid for a breakfast and stayed there for three nights, did it matter whether we ate the biscuits at the table or in our car on journey, we weren't taking out pieces of toast, sausages, bacon sandwich, donuts etc!! extremely rude lady, only wish i had taken her name and reported her at reception!! but we were in a rush. Hotel was adequate, would i stay there again, NO! would i recommend, Doubtfully.

Great hotel. Rooms are very nice, the location very pretty, and the staff most welcoming. Sometimes in Italy you can get old beaten down facilities, but this is not the case here. Really great place to stay.
