Friendly reception with pretty gardens and pool. However, the 'Superior Double' bedroom was anything but 'superior'... a mattress which was past-it's-use-by-date and cheap lumpy pillows (I won't mention the squeaky bed frame!) with minimal space around the bed. Old fashioned furniture and a toilette cistern that malfunctioned, I would be hard pressed to go beyond 3 stars (the breakfast was... More

Very basic place. Rooms are ( at least ours ) very small . Bathroom also quite tight . Brrakfast not above the minimum you get get in a simple hotel. But it is very , very clean . Staff are doing their very best . It is centrally positioned . If your expectations are correctly set , you will like... More

More than a strategically well located place (away from the turmoil of the village and conveniently close to it), it's a plainly comfortable resort managed by a competent and likeable staff. Being a frequent lodger at Quinta do Moinho de Vento, whenever we arrive there we feel like they were waiting for our return.

I’ve spend a weekend at Quinta do Moinho de Vento , it is a very pleasant place to stay . The rooms have an acceptable size but with a simple décor. My room was on the second floor and had a balcony with a view of the property garden that is well taken care off. It surprised me the detail... More

Friendly service and very relaxing place. If you need to stay in this village this is a good choice. Just walk around the gardens with its fruit trees and eat some figs or peaches. The swimming pool or the tennis court help you enhance the experience.

We were on a family activity holiday and Quinta do Moinho de Vento provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind after each day's adventures. The rooms are spotlessly clean and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The pool is small but ideal for relaxing in or playing with the children. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Vila nova de milfontes seems to be very appreciatted of local due to the cool temperature and nice scenic costline, however it is a strange city, rows of new attached colorful houses, city center limited to very few streets with small restaurants, a lot of construction ongoing, not very clean, lot of dirt roads and old houses, mixed with new... In Summer, normally our city seems a little bit strange, because is too small to accommodate the number of cars and people that visit us. However is a lovely town and some constructions have to be made. Our breakfast is continental, with traditional products from Alentejo. The staff at the reception speaks english, the housekeeping don't, but they try to... More

We had a self catering apartment which was very well eqipped very clean and modern. We were disappointed with the location adjacent to the pool and with no private or demarcated space we felt very exposed when eating outside and sunbathing in the gateway. The hotel has fantastic gardens which don't seem to get used as everyone gravitates to the pool.... More

Nice and almost elegant place with a nice swimming pool and a garden. We stayed there only one night but we find the place very clean and the breakfast was marvelous. The personnel was very kind and let us use the pool even if we had to do the check out. Quite close to the shops and restaurants it has... More

We arrived - there was no reception - but the friendliest of cleaners found us our room. The hotel was basically empty - high season had passed - this meant that the breakfast buffet was also slender pickings. Rainy weather doesn't lend inself to enjoying the pool and spa and I am sure there are times when the hotel has... More
