Time has aged the place but still a preferred resort by the locals. People from afar come here for the fun water slides and the waves, usually starts with a performance from the staff. Still a good place to go, best for family gathering and just have fun.

Last may 6, 2017 my family decided to go on a swimming to celebrate mothers day instead of our ritual dining out. Our first choice was Amana Water park on our way there me and my siblings argued. I kept telling them it might be crowded there then we dcide to read some reviews on the place and I wasn't...

We were invited to 8 Waves by my wife's office mate, we stayed for two nights in a suite (309a) in the so called annex. In general we had a good time and tried the wave pool and slides. If are looking for a change from the usual "swimming pool scene" then try this but beware the rooms aren't cheap...

Have to stay in 8 Waves Hotel, not so flexible deal unlike with other hotels, breakfast c/o Pancake house which you don't have any choice...not so good wifi connection. must stay away from the pool if you don't want too much noise from the swimming public.

We actually spent New Year's Eve here. We asked for the most expensive room and, given the price, it wasn't that bad. It had a garden view. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The room was very spacious and offered a small balcony. The AC was fine. The bathroom was clean. The only problems we had were the...

Hotel review. 3 stars for cleanliness, friendly staff, and value. We stayed here for one night while visiting our family in the area. Unfortunately, our stay was too short to have taken advantage of their pool area. The room was approx. $60/night which was a good value for American standards however pricey for Filipinos. Although the hotel ground was decent,...

Stayed here without expecting so much because it is thought to be a provincial hotel. Exceeded my expectation beginning at the doorstep. The staff are very courteous and warm, the Bulakenio way. My bed is comfortable, the room is clean. They greatly helped in organizing our family party. It may not be at par with high end city hotels but...

Staying at the hotel as I write this. 11:00 pm, techno dance music echoes outside from across the pool. The past three hours have been a nightmare. Someone at the hotel thought it would be a good idea to allow a large party outside next to the hotel facing the pool. For hours we had people three feet away from...
