This place was exactly what one might expect for being in the middle of the jungle. Tom and Charo did everything they could to make us feel comfortable being so isolated and in the heat the cold beer was a blessing! Charo prepared 3 square meals everyday that were far finer than some of what I have had at 4star...

The whole family - two adults, a teenager and an eight year old - had three very nice days at Arajuno Lodge. Tom and Charo are very kind hosts. Charo served excellent local ecuadorian dishes and Tom was an inspiring guide and told us everything we wanted to know about the jungle. The lodge is situated in a beautiful spot...

Me and my girlsfriend stayed at Arajuno Lodge for 3 days without really knowing exactly what to expect. From the off, Tom (the owner) and his wife were absolutely fantastic hosts, and excellent company. Tom had organised a range of activities for us to do including treks into the Amazon and helping learn about (and participate in!) the different conservation...

Stayed here with my husband, and another couple. Tom was great in showing us around the property, finding activities for us to do, and giving us tips for things to do for the rest of the trip. It is right along the river (which you can swim in) and has hammocks that provide a great view! They have nice huts...

I recently stayed with Tom at his lodge, and from the moment I stepped off the canoe, I was treated like a second class guest. As some background, I am a young female engineer that recently graduated from college, and I was travel with two acquaintances. One of main features about this lodge that attracted my attention and encouraged me...

I am sad that this cliente was not satisfied with her stay at Arajuno Jungle Lodge. It is true that she asked about the possibility of visiting a community. It is also true that I responded by saying that it isn't possible to arrange at the last moment. Visiting indigenous communities is something that requires advanced permission and preparation by...

The meals were fantastic and very filling, the accommodations were great (hot running water, the whole works), and the staff were wonderful people. They are working on saving a species of river turtle from the effects of dynamite fishing on the side, and most of their electricity is derived from solar power.

Arajuno Jungle Lodge might prove the perfect introduction to the diversity of Amazonian lowlands under certain circumstances. Having reserved the birding package offered (which includes the promise of a professional guide), I'm balancing my assessment of lodging & meals (quite good) with my personal conclusion regarding the guided birding (not so great). My group of three had the place to...

This group had one of the best, multilingual bird guides I know of in the area. He worked hard for them from first light to night time.

Tom and his team are great hosts. Freshly prepared three meals a day were tasty and filling. Good coffee early am. We were family of four with two teens. The lodges projects kept the lads interest and they enjoyed helping. The beach and river were great for cooling off and swimming. The trek in the jungle was excellent, encountering snakes,...

We recently stayed at the Arajuno Jungle Lodge for three days and two nights. We would most enthusiatically recommend this place to anyone interested in traveling to Tena or the jungle at all. In fact, we would shout it from the top of the observation tower we climbed for an awe-some view of the jungle expanse: GO TO THE ARAJUNO...
