Don't be put off by the idea of a jungle lodge! The lodges are extremely comfortable, clean, bug free and ceiling fans. There is plenty of hot water with a superb bathroom. The guide we had, Luis, was amazing in his knowledge and enthusiasm. It is the best holiday we have had, with the variety of activities laid on by...

Agree with other reviewers. Sacha Lodge is a first rate jungle lodge that will provide an excellent introduction to the rain forest. Having visited the Amazon region in my youth as a backpacker on a budget, this is definitely the way to go. My wife was initially a bit fearful of bringing our children into the wild, but everyone had...

You realize how far you are from civilization, by the time the canoe finally paddles you across the silent lagoon to the entrance of Sacha. This place is totally amazing ,we stayed five days and shared our jungle experience with fellow travelers from Australia and Germany. We were kitted out with rubber boots and given ponchos for the downpours The...

Sacha Lodge was well worth the long boat ride and drenching downpours. The Amazon Rainforest is a great experience. Our guides were well informed...one English speaking with college degree and an Ecuadorian native who taught us about the plants and animals and how his people used them. Our rooms were clean and neat with great showers and plenty of hot...

After a couple of weeks in the Galapagos, the trip down to Sascha Lodge was a really interesting and refreshing contrast. The lodge is extremely well managed with representatives to meet you at Coca airport and co-ordinate a very smooth transfer down the Napo River taking in a lunch stop at a Heritage centre. As others have commented the arrival...

Sacha Lodge is a very unique place in the middle of no-where. It takes quite a long journey to get here. Flight to Coca, 2 hour canoe ride, hike and then a canoe ride across a lake. The lodge reminded us of the ride Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland mixed with the Jungle Cruise. We were in rooms 11...

After a bus, boat and canoe ride (all with complimentary ponchos and organised down to the minute), Sacha lodge appears through the jungle. It's has a beautiful dining and bar area, where on arrival there is a cocktail waiting for you along with a helpful briefing from one of the guides. Pablo was our guide and was great. Knowledgeble, accommodating...

From the moment of arriving at Coca airport, we realised we were on an amazing adventure. as we took the boat down the Napo river to arrive at Sacha Lodge, the feeling of being somewhere very special was overwhelming. The river is so wide, it is stunning. Arriving at the lodge after a short hike and canoe ride only added...

We stayed at Sacha Lodge for 3 nights in May 2014. We had a fabulous time. All the activities were fun and educational. Our naturalist guide, Jorge, was FANTASTIC! Very passionate about sharing his knowledge of the jungle and the ways of the native people. He definitely made the trip. There's already a lot of information on how things work...
