Having stayed at approximately 8 accommodations in northern Tanzania during a recent visit, Kudu Lodge was one of the highlights in terms of accommodation. The grounds are spectacular, well maintained and beautiful. The reception area is a beautiful, high ceilinged area with lots of comfy chairs for when you are using the WIFI. The actual lodge rooms/cabins are huge, with...

Kudu Lodge is a nice surprise after a day long drive down from Nairobi. The thing that strikes immediately are the lush and green gardens. They're very well kept and it must cost them a fortune to water them enough every day to maintain this. Very good!! The suite I had was quite spacious and comfortable. Bathroom had all the...

We stayed here for a friend's wedding. The staff were amazingly helpful in setting up and making sure everyone was comfortable (esp. the bride). The gardens are beautiful and kept immaculate. The rooms are spacious and welcoming, and the beds were super comfy. I'll never say no to a pool that has a bar, always a win.

We stayed in our own tent - and were quite impressed with the service provided by the staff: they kept our cooler box in their freezer, gave us more ice in the morning - and helped with lighting up fire we could cook on. The toilets and showers have been spotless and everything worked!

The hotel is perfectly located. They have labeled all plant and tree species, very informative for the kids! The food was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and cozy! Loved it! The 2nd day of our stay the swimming pool could not be used, because the staff negligently poured chlorine into the water early in the morning instead of late night,...

Nice hotel in Karatu. I spent two nights there, before and after visit Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The rooms are huge, big beds, bathroom. The breakfast and the dinner was very good, and pay attention, the water on the restaurant is not free. The staff is really nice. There is a bar and a big swimming pool.

Surprise to find this oasis behind a wall in a typical dusty town. Immaculate garden with labelled plants. Huge clean suites (maybe a bit too large and impersonal?). Very nice swimming pool. Also spa etc but we did not indulge. Low season so disappointingly we were the only guests rather rattling around in the big spaces, but staff very helpful...

I checked in and had a main request - working internet in the room. Yeah, I know, but I had no internet for almost a week and was looking forward to speaking with my family back home from this hotel which I was told had stable internet. After reiterating this request, I went to my room which of course had...
