When you leave the main road heading towards this nice lodge, you will admire a vastity of coffee's fields. The road borders several houses and, normally, there is plenty of kids playing outside or returning home from school with their coloured uniforms. When you arrive to the lodge, you receive a warm welcome from the staff and some refreshers. The...

The hilly lodge is beautiful and colourful with bougainvilla blooms The main house overlooks a valley and it's hall is very inviting with a great fire going in the evenings. Rooms are very comfortable too . Meals are also very good . The lodge has also many birds visiting in the early morning /evening.

This was where we stayed on day 3 of the trip. It was truely stunning! A beautiful room, with a beautiful pool. We had a delicious cocktail in the bar followed by a nice dinner with excellent service as usual! Always a shame to always spend one night in these places due to safari but I would reccommend it to...

Warm welcome, amazing chef ready to cook vegetarian and accommodate you in whichever way possible! They grow their own vegetable and coffee which is delicious. European plugs, very modern and fancy for a safari, I like tents a bit better but the rooms are spacious and amazing! They baked a cake for my grandmothers birthday and sang to surprise her...

We spent two nights at Bashay Rift Lodge. The Lodge is on a hill overlooking a wonderful valley. The bungalows are spacious and decorated with refined taste. The lodge has also a nice swimming pool, though, admittedly, the water was quite chilly. That said, our kids loved it! Staff at Bashay was great and food choice excellent. You would really...

We stayed one night at Bashay Rift Lodge at the conclusion of our safari before heading to Zanzibar. From our first impression driving up to the lodge to checkout Bashay Rift Lodge never failed to impress. The well-maintained grounds featured a beautiful selection of plants and flowers. Our room was spacious and nestled into the hillside with large loft style...

We were only here for one night (due to some airline issues) but really enjoyed our stay. Our room was huge with amazing views and there was beautiful landscaping everywhere. We were lucky to be there before the busy season, so it was very quiet and relaxing. Our meals were amazing - way too much to eat. Probably the only...

The road up is harrowing to say the least, but we were greeted with a warm wet towel and a drink. Our room was beautiful and it may have been our best, most spacious bathroom. We had a deck with a view of the whole valley, only exceeded by the view from the main lodge and restaurant. The gardens were...

The sunset view is simply amazing! The lodge is lost at the end of a long a damaged dust road, but it's worth it ! The staff is professional, they know the European standards. The rooms are great. Only minus, it felt weird to find Ikea furniture there !

Our 1 night break from tented safari accommodation started off well. This is a fabulous location with great lodge rooms, swimming pool and massage service. However although individually most of the staff were very accommodating there was a lack of consistency with their service. We treated ourselves to a massage which was ok but then felt taken advantage of as...
