Anniversary trip for the missus and I - the hotel surroundings and service is faultless and stunning - set in beautiful countryside, clean classic lines to the buildings, a warm welcome from the staff and GM when we arrived and a few upgrade to a pool suite - zero complaints... Service really was spot on - however if I have... More

The property is pretty phenomenally located on the rise of before the Menorah hills and viewing the Borobodur temple. Along with the views, the property exudes solemness and tranquility with its architecture and layout, along with being amongst the rice paddies and farming plots. To add to the ambience, the evening meals had local Javanese music playing live, and then... More

As usual, the Aman Group managed to source a wonderful and magical location for its hotel! How do they do this???!!! Amanjiwo blends perfectly within the nature and its surroundings, and the proximity of Boro Budur temple makes it even more special. It is, as another reviewer said, a sanctuary of peace. The food served at the restaurant is delicious,... More

I recently stayed with my family. My two young kids shared a garden villa with us and there was plenty of room without feeling cramped. The villas are beautifully done and set out in terrace fashion so as many as possible have a view of Borobodur itself (we were on the lowest terrace, right on the paddy field and the... More

The irony that the experience of the world's biggest Buddhist temple is made even more entirely magical by staying at the Amanjiwo, is not lost on me. Be that as it may, if you are a visitor rather than a pilgrim, then the Amanjiwo is a divine earthly experience, when combined with the serenity and beauty of Borobudur constantly in... More

Aman group is for me one of the best finest and luxury chain. Nothing is too much, it is just perfect. I am always delighted to spend some to any hotels of the group. The view of Borobudur makes Amanjiwo a place to go at least once. You won't regret it.

The room is a Villa. Privacy, LUXURY and at the same time cozy. Impeccable service. Searching for inner peace, a time for your self? This is the place. One unforgettable experience was a typical javanese dinner. We scheduled a transport to town (Toyota Land Cruiser Prado) and I asked for the driver to take us where he used to have... More

This Hotel should be called AmanjiWOW ---truly spectacular in every which way! The accommodation, all the staff, the food etc are exemplary. I have nothing bad to say about this exquisite hotel. Despite the opulence and grandeur of the place it was still comfortable and relaxed. Cab't rate it enough!
