We went in May 2016. No shuttle, we hired a taxi. It was fairly expensive. There is a bus that goes to the Beach but not to the resort. Very cheap and a great ride...open doors, stopping to pick up locals etc. We used the bus from the Beach back to Jogjakarta. But this will only suit you if you do not have much luggage as you will have to walk to/from the resort to the bus station. Also can be a very hot walk. Maybe a local person would give you a lift? About 20-30 mins walk but only 5min in a vehicle. We walked via the beach as the resort has steps to the beach. Enjoy your stay, we loved it!
