Their tag line is "The art of relaxing". It's impossible to relax much if you don't get a good night's sleep. They are a mid to low range resort in terms of price, so I really wasn't expecting much. But the least I would expect is a proper bed to sleep in. I informed them there would be 3 of us coming, including a child who needs their own bed. I told them I would happily pay for an extra bed (which is what we usually do at a hotel). They assured me there would be no need for an extra bed because their beds are big enough to fit 3 people comfortably. When I got to the room I saw they had joined 2 twin (single) beds to make one "large" bed. And there was a joint in the middle. Being the mom of the family it was me who had to sleep in that joint. I am currently nursing my sore back as I write this review. Also the kiddie pool was very dirty. It had what looked like mold floating around. I asked several people and called reception twice to have them scoop out what they could. They said they would send someone but never did. They got around to cleaning it eventually the next morning. So that's the pace of the service you should expect. The food was insanely overpriced and bad. We ended up eating at a nearby restaurant owned by another resort for a third of the price. Most else about the resort was very average. Like I said, we went there with low expectations. But I will not be revisiting solely because I could not sleep well.

I stayed with my husband for our anniversary and the first thing that comes to my mind, its way too pricey than what it offers! And whenever I am saying pricey/expensive/not value for money, I mean not worth what they have provided.

- Lets start with the worst thing. 2 of us had dinner at their restaurant. Dishes r on an average 700 ++. Problem is there is no individual dish you can order, something like grilled chicken that could alone serve 1 person. We ordered soup, fried chicken & salad, all were 3:1 (place is visited mostly by couples!),average taste,1 spaghetti (for 1 person)that we could nt eat after a bite (trust me, it was that bad),2 fruit juices, ended up with lots of leftover & a bill of BDT 3,700. We complained about the spaghetti thinking something is wrong, the cook came out & said politely thats the way they serve. Replacing complained food is not a common culture in BD, but at least they could offer anything complimentary, let alone not charging BDT 1000 for a dish that we could not eat. The restaurant could not serve us average edible food but can give a fight to 5 star hotels in terms of price. We literally skipped the lunch plan the next day and left early to eat good food to celebrate the special day.

- Breakfast had better taste than dinner and offered both english & bangladeshi style buffet.

- Now the place. I came here once when it was open yet under construction 1.5 years back. The place still have under construction look. The lake which is the key attraction for hiring a water bungalow, looks muddy. you can see fishes when they are coming up to breathe and I felt pity for them.

- Rooms, expensive. We stayed in a water bungalow,8500+26.5 % additional for 1night. Room is small, but ok with pretty lamps, plants and paintings by little kids (loved it!). Rooms are wooden, thats fine, but too close to each other, so you can hear people talking in the next bungalow. Good luck if you are a couple! furniture and the TV, too basic. Window in the bathroom cant be opened. Nice touch with natural stuff provided at the bathroom. I was curious to look what is there behind each bangalow, it was a dump of nature which lacks maintenance.

- Staff, very polite and always smiling. Starting from reception desk, to a luggage guy, to the waiter, security guards, very helpful and went over their duties.

- Sunflower is the theme of the resort, & well portrayed all over the place. They also opened a picture gallery which is a nice addition for an art lover. There were ducks, and it was lovely to see them natural between building all over the place.

- Best part of the place, the swimming pool area! The restaurant enjoys a great view cause it surrounds the pool. Look at the pictures to understand how beautiful it is! So if you want a day trip out side Dhaka for couple of hours and have a drink in a nice place with your partner (& dont care whether the drinks are value for money), I will definitely suggest this place.

All in all, the resort lacks the "resort feel" - air, birds, well planned man-maid nature that should look natural, buildings not disturbing the overall environment, a clean natural lake, private openness for a couple to sit & relax other than the room... missing. not going back!

I along with my family stayed in the water cottage of this resort. I didn't found enough pictures of that category in their website. So, really disappointed when i entered the cottage. Maintenance was not upto the mark of the structure. After that, service of the staffs were really good and foods were also good but little bit spocy. But regarding accommodation, in compare of price you will be disappointed for water cottage. Where as hotel complex is better regarding pricing....

Proper seems very aged and room ambiance is very poor. Electricity is a big challenge specially in the evening. Middle of the night ac was running but lights and fans were out. Swimming poll maintenance is poor. Their food in the restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is good. Property needs renovation.
Day trip with family and friends is recommended but not for night stay.

Nice place, tasty food though they serve few items.. We stayed for one night and I loved the cottage but they should upgrade the standard as they charge too much.. Btw Everything was ok but there's a saying "All's well that ends well."

We booked on Thursday morning but due to some official work & traffic jam we reached there at night about 11:15 pm. We confirmed them that we are coming but they didn't serve us any dinner because we're too late..(btw we missed our lunch also) Ok then.. There's a 40% discount offer for Amex card holder from Sunday to Thursday. The next morning at 11 pm while we're checking out they didn't give us the discount, saying that " Sir, you didn't tell us you will pay through card/cash.. Blah blah..We are really sorry next time we'll think about it." It's a lame excuse & they didn't ask anything about the payment procedure, moreover we wanted to pay earlier but they said that you can pay while leaving.. So what to do, we left and said nothing.. But it's a negative impression otherwise everything was ok..

Been there with my family but the resort experience was extremely awful. Too much expensive and its irritation to get ++vat in everything, even you go to play TT or fuss ball.

Food was not that up to the mark but they charge in a high rate. Both type of room are not worth as their are charging. Average or can say below average rate room you have to pay like 4star rate.

Not worth it. Worse resort ever seen.

The price is exorbitant compared to the standard of rooms. Rooms are tiny and not well maintained and even the cottages are disappointing. The pool area and the restaurant services and food provide some saving grace. However, the quality of rooms is enough to make you want to cut your trip short.

I stayed with my wife and infant son. The place is big. Bug very poorly maintained. They charged us 5400 taka for deluxe room. But the price is too high. It was not at all clean. I planned for 2 nights. But could only stay one night.

But the staffs were splendid. They tried their best to do heir part. Well behaved and always smiling.

They have a huge space. They need Renovation and good manager.
