This was our first time to Canada and our first bear viewing experience and WOW what an experience it was! We came in September to view the Grizzly Bears. The education about the bears, activities to view the bears, the accommodation, company and food were all fantastic! Julius, Kristen and their team all went above and beyond for us to...

We began our quest to see grizzlies in the wilderness by investigating the options in Alaska. However a young American woman who had stayed with us for a couple of years in NZ was very keen for us to visit her in Winthrop, US, adding the possibility of exploring the Yellowstone and Teton Parks with us. We cottoned on to...

This was our first bear watching experience and it exceeded our expectations. We loved every minute of our stay from bear watching on foot to rafting down the river. We highly recommend the Grizzly Bear Ranch to anyone who wishes to see bears (and other wildlife) in a natural environment. Julius , Paul, Ollie Tamara and John are all clearly...

Having read other reviews where the trip was discussed as being excellent, we feel the same. We saw bears, had lots of education and advice provided, ate and drank well and had a fab time. The 3 days are not long enough though to absorb the atmosphere and really take it all in...need to go back! Don't go expecting to...

I found this place on trip advisor and read all the reports and couldn't quite believe the reviews, were they really that good? Since returning to the UK and again having read all the reviews we really can't add any more value to what has already been written. Everything that everyone has said is true, it is the most fabulous...

Kristen and Juliius provide guests with a luxurious yet rustic experience. Accommodations and meals will make you smile as Kristen is an accomplished cook and the cabins have all the amenities you would expect from a well appointed hotel suite. I am from BC and was impressed and delighted by the variety of activities they offer. The guides, the evening...

If you want a natural bear viewing experience, Grizzly Bear Ranch can provide the location and expertise and hopefully the bears will be in the area. They have Julius the owner, together with Paul, Ollie, Tamara and our own Brit' bear spotter, John, who will safely guide you to places where hopefully bears will be seen. Nothing is guaranteed, everything...

And indeed all those superlatives from previous reviewers paint a truthful and accurate review of Grizzly Bear Ranch. For us we chose GBR as a complete contrast to a contrived experience (and there are many on offer), we wanted wild and natural. As a consequence of wanting that uniqueness it required patience, persistence and mostly hope! Glimpsed sighting in early...

Words fail me but I'll give it a go. Our three days on the ranch was probably the most magical thing Wendy and I have ever done, and as others will vouch, we've done a lot. Julian's passion for Grizzly bears and Kirstin's for her home cooking goes without question. But what makes the experience unbelievable is how John (the...
