With probably the friendliest staff you're likely to come across this classic Highland hotel sits in a stunning location with great access to the surrounding mountains and is handily placed for a stopover on the way to or from Skye. We had Room 1 with the sauna and 4-poster bed. It was great for relaxing after a day in the...

Lovely inn with a bit of history and a very good location for trips to Skye. The room was spacious with a four poster bed and en suite with jacuzzi bath. The menu was really good with gluten free and vegetarian choices. This inn was very popular and the food which was served most of the day was excellent, my...

£120 a night for a room for 2 people, one would expect something fairly decent. Being in such a stunning glen, I had hoped for views up to the mountains but this was not to be. The room faced some outdoor sheds, the inner courtyard around which all the rooms seemed to centre was a junkyard with building materials, overgrown...

Stayed with 3 friends for a hill walking weekend. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Furniture was all new. Staff were pleasant and helpful and interested in chatting about our day. We arrived back from the hill too late for the restaurant, we were offered soup or casserole from the kitchen which were delicious and well needed after a...

We stayed for two nights so we could have a day in Skye before heading down to Mull. Loved the hills and the remoteness - looks like lots of great walking if we had more time. The inn had a rustic charm - not upmarket, but a relaxed ambience. We stayed in a room with shared bathroom, which was fine...

The little Inn is in the centre of a picturesque valley in the Northwest Highlands. The dining room is casual, clean and attractive. Service was friendly and quick. Our party had lasagna, fish & chips and the steak and ale pie. I found the pie to be very dry and overly salted. My son couldn't eat the lasagna as the...

We stayed here a couple of years ago in room number 1 which we booked again because it has a double Jacuzzi and a sauna in the room. Let me tell you something, there is nothing better than completing the South Glen Sheil ridge, an 11 hour walk over 7 Munros and going into a Jacuzzi and then a sauna...

Stumbled in for dinner as it was at the end of a very long hill walk. Welcomed all three of us tired, weary and slightly dirty walkers (we took our boots off at the door to save the carpet which was no issue to the staff). Main courses are big portions of piping hot, hearty pub food which were delicious...

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch here with my husband on a recent trip to Scotland. Delicious Cullen skink (ignore the name, and try the dish!), hamburgers, onion rings, and ginger beer. Excellent meal, great service. Highly recommend.
