A lovely, quiet place with a chilled family vibe, and very warm, welcoming hosts. Nice little garden behind, shaded parking and few steps from the beach. Close to Taormina, Alcantara Gorges and Etna. Highly recommended for families and couples!

My family and I were traveling through Sicily and randomly selected Roccalumera and the Nonna Germina. Upon our arrival, we were immediately warmly received and welcomed into the home of the Molino's. We had actually intended on staying just one night, but after our personal experience with the family decided to extend. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and we are pleased to recommend them highly!

I agree with the other recent reviews. The property is very nice and the owner is friendly and hospitable. The location is very good. One minor complaint, and I should stress the word minor -- the wi-fi only worked in the lobby, which was a bit inconvenient.

I'm not your typical tourist. I went to Roccalumera to visit relatives. The room was very clean, and large for one person. A small refrigerator was an unexpected bonus. Cold water in the morning is always a plus. John gave me his cell number in case of any problem. The room was cleaned every other day with new bed coverings and enough towels for four showers. My stay was very quiet, with no disruptions or any inconveniences. I stood there for 11 nights and as soon as I can clear 14 days again, I'll stay there again.

Nonna Germina is a haven of peace and quiet, one block from the beach , and only a few miles from Taormina. The room is spacious ,clean and calm. The host Giovanni and his family are charming, gracious, and multilingual . Best of all, the back yard is a garden of delights... with lemon trees, orange trees, roses , and delectable little nespola . i highly recommend it!
