Hotel is quite central, and has some sea view rooms, but for me, that is it. We had a small room, overlooking the beach. When we arrived there was no one in the reception, and we had to wait. There are no lifts, which is not acceptable for a hotel, and seems like the hotel is going through a renovation,... More

Good value for money in central location in stonehaven. Friendly, attentive staff. Pleasant room with nice sea view and enjoyed the free folk festival in the bar. Nice choice for breakfast and smooth check out.

We booked a table and were shown to it promptly and given menus, which were quite extensive and not expensive. Food and drink arrived quickly and was very good quality. Far better than you might expect in a bar / restaurant. Service was excellent from friendly staff. It got a bit noisy when 3 young lads came into the bar... More

The room and bathroom were very clean. As it was Valentine's Day when we stayed there were rose petals on the bed which was a lovely touch. The location was great, right in the centre of the small town and the beach was only a two minute walk away. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really nice

This hotel is being rebranded and is now called Number 44. It's a good location right on the main road and square in Stonehaven. Our room had been recently renovated so was in good condition though very small. There is no attached parking but you can park in a pay and display across the road, which was free overnight. The... I have just recently stayed here with my family. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Offering to take out bags to our rooms. The rooms are small but very clean with comfy beds. There is a hairdryer, tea and coffee in room and free WIFI. We also had a lovely view of the sea. The meals in the... More

Arrived in the charming town of Stonehaven, a east coast town just south of Aberdeen. It was a night I didn;t book in advance. Luckily JP the manager had a comfy room with a breathtaking view of the harbor and Donotar castle up on the bluff. The friendly and charming staff made us feel at home. For dinner we had... More
