Welcome to the world of Soviet Russia. Even though they did renovate the rooms (which are somewhat tiny) you still get this Soviet Russia atmosphere. The food is decent, but the choice is limited. The staff are Russian-speaking only as the hotel focuses on lower- and lower-middle managers visiting Kolomna for business. In terms of transport it is very good,...

All hotels full, so this was the only one available, later this one was also full. The good news that it is cheap with current rouble rate and they have an elevator, it is clean, but further the news is rather disappointing. I spare you the details but the name is a good description for what you can expect. There...

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions, usually when my preferred hotel is full. Typically Russian features include... lengthy check-in process, including registration (not necessary for those with a 3 year work visa), general lack of facilities, very soviet rooms, breakfast variable and laughable (porridge one day, none the next), doors locked at about 11pm etc...
