We travelled to OSTIA as our daughter was competing at a national swimming event there. The hotel was walking distance from the pool and in the heart of everything happening in OSTIA ! This is a very lovely little town about 40 min train ride to heart of city of ROME . Ostia comes alive about 9 pm and stays...

Great hotel in a great location. Front desk staff was very accommodating, and even sent up a bottle of champagne when they noticed it was my birthday. The complimentary breakfast was generous; we took it back to have on our balcony. The room was small but clean and had all we needed. There was a small problem with the shower...

Excellent included breakfast. Really friendly front desk staff. No balcony but great sea view. A/C worked well, really important in hot weather. Great selection of TV channels too. Comfortable bed. Would go back. Really central location so lots of traffic and tons of people. Were there on a Saturday night so it was really hopping. Street performers on the pier,...

The location was amazing. Right by the pier and across from the beach. There are plenty of great places to eat around the hotel. I recommend the room with a beach view if possible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Me and my fiancé needed help getting to Rome and sight seeing and they did a great job helping...

Hotel was relatively good and staffs were kind. Breakfast was satisfying. However, the taxi which this hotel prepared for us was very expensive. He asked us too much without the receipt (means illeagal)....

I was quite satisfied with my stay at La Scaletta. My room was clean and quiet. The bath services worked fine. The hotel is easy to find and well placed in Ostia. The desk clerks and staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely and helpful staff, great location, clean and comfortable. The room had air-conditioning and electric shutters and a very useful fridge. A short walk to the station for easy access to Rome and also opposite the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Room wasn't that nice nor clean, but that was somewhat compensated by the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast wasn't great, but it was okay, we enjoyed it. The hotel is suited for a short stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. Extra info about Lido di Ostia: poor quality commercial beach, not much to do around there,...

We spent our first night here in Rome from a gruelling flight. We were very pleased with the level of service and care the front desk staffs had shown us. Simply love the day-light block out automatic shutter in the room. We had a good rest from a long jouney. Highly recommend it for a few quick overnights before heading...

To be honest I was expecting better after reading so many positive reviews, but overall there was nothing wrong with this hotel, it serves the purpose, just don't expect too much. Being situated directly above McDonalds didnt exactly thrill me when we arrived, but it was not a problem for us. The room was quite small, as was the shower...
