Lovely little country pub with nice rooms and very friendly staff. We each had a steak and it was cooked exactly as we wanted, it was a fabulous meal and the menu is to be recommended. The locals went out their way to make our time there very welcome.

Lovely lttle country pub, with cleand and tidy rooms, just right next door to the pub, Good food , breakfast especially, with friendly and prompt service. Local patrons friendly and easy to talk to, good for one travelling solo.

This pub on the Main Street of Donore near Drogheda is a hidden gem. I had the Murphy's steak and Guinness pie and it was amazing. I have had a few of these pies and this was the best I have had. The service was fast and extremely courteous. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the area....

We stopped in for lunch after visiting New Grange. Just want to mention that they served the best fish and chips of our two week trip to Ireland! They cater to tour groups which is not where we would normally choose to stop...but we were hungry, lol!

Best breakfast we had during our 2 week visit. Eggs cooked to perfection. Irish bacon delightful. So much better than hotel style. Sausages had a nice flavorful char. Attentive friendly service. Reasonable prices.

Stayed here a few years ago and it was great. Clean bright room. What a disappointment on my recent visit. The shower was dirty and the fixtures were all loose and rusted. Will not go back. The restaurant however, had good food and great service.

Stayed here for a night as a weekend away to Tayto Park. Good location to the park, food was good and room was basic but had everything we needed. My only problem was that the family room we had was situated over the pub and as it was a Saturday night, the noise went on until well after 2am. We...

We didn't have reservations when we left New Grange and Knowth. The closest hotels were full... so we drove a few miles to Donore. This little pub had perfectly adequate hotel rooms above it. The hotel was not memorable, but it was clean and neat and a welcome stop.

Four of us had lunch on August 9. It was perfect. We had the tomato soup, mushrooms and a salad. All were very tasty and served hot. Salad was fresh and plentiful. Service was friendly and professional. Recommended for lunch and dinner Recommended

Just returned from a lovely two nights break at Dalys Inn. Room was basic but clean and towels were changed daily . Had dinner on both nights and girls couldn't do enough for us even though they were quite busy. Food was great and plenty of it. Would recommend this place to stay . Don't expect luxury as you get...
