Me and my friends went just for a meal, had no idea what to expect, but it was great. Had a great time with my friends, the fiod was really good, and the staff was so friendly that made all the visit even better. Definitely a place to go back.

We booked this B&B as we were attending a Wedding in Tankardstown House. I was a bit worried about staying here after reading some reviews on TripAdvisor but after arriving there was nothing to be concerned about. We went straight into the Bar as we knew that's where we had to collect our room keys. We put our bags into...

We booked this place very last-minute on our way between Belfast and Dublin. We wanted to tour Bru Na Boinne, Battle of the Boyne sight, etc. and found this spot perfectly located for these activities. The room was what you would expect for a smaller town inn; somewhat Spartan, a little small but clean and ideal for the price. We...

My brother and I had booked separate rooms here for two nights, at 60 euros each per night. We arrived late at night and went up to our respective rooms, Mine was decorated a bit like your nannan's spare bedroom circa 1980 - floral wallpaper, pine furniture and faintly shabby. Every source of water in the bathroom dripped to some...

Well, where to start! The 'staff' I met (and these were the pub staff) were lovely. OK, the room. Think about the smell of a blocked drain; no, a drain that's been blocked and has been festering for a year. THAT is what Room 1 (and indeed the corridor leading to Room 1) smelled like. Having arrived late on Friday...

Lovely little country pub with nice rooms and very friendly staff. We each had a steak and it was cooked exactly as we wanted, it was a fabulous meal and the menu is to be recommended. The locals went out their way to make our time there very welcome.

This pub on the Main Street of Donore near Drogheda is a hidden gem. I had the Murphy's steak and Guinness pie and it was amazing. I have had a few of these pies and this was the best I have had. The service was fast and extremely courteous. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the area....

We stopped in for lunch after visiting New Grange. Just want to mention that they served the best fish and chips of our two week trip to Ireland! They cater to tour groups which is not where we would normally choose to stop...but we were hungry, lol!

Best breakfast we had during our 2 week visit. Eggs cooked to perfection. Irish bacon delightful. So much better than hotel style. Sausages had a nice flavorful char. Attentive friendly service. Reasonable prices.
