Excellent location a stone's throw from the center of Pescasseroli, reachable on foot.
The rooms are very clean and with attention to detail.
The staff is extremely kind and helpful with requests.
Excellent food cooked with taste, very good and, not to be taken for granted, the desserts.
The property has a recently built spa. The spaces are large but the very pleasant thing is that you can access by booking and for single use of one room at a time, therefore you can use the services alone.
Strongly recommended!
We hope that in the future authenticity and taste for beauty will not be lost!
The experience was overall very positive.
In particular, I point out the excellent cuisine of Azzurra. Lots of variety in dishes, menu also for celiacs.
The owner Fulvia was very helpful and kind to solve some of our requests. The rooms are not very modern. The qualitative leap could be achieved by intervening on these. Recommended.
Distance from the center calculated at 1.3 km which corresponds to about twenty minutes of walking, not all of which is flat.
Overall acceptable stay in a quiet environment with good customer care.
Excellent point: the cuisine and the dessert buffet. Congratulations to the chef cook!
So-so (venial) points: cleanliness is acceptable, although I noticed that at breakfast they don't always change the tablecloth from the previous dinner. Acceptable room service, apart from the unpleasant impression, once in bed, of finding our pajamas piled up under the pillow.
The minibar is not free, on request you pay €2.50 per day (even if they didn't take it into account).
We stayed in the last available room, one of the four cramped and uncomfortable rooms in the attic. We had no other choice. We couldn't imagine that, scorched by the mid-August sun and without air conditioning, the room, still hot and muggy at night, would have forced us to open the window until dawn before falling asleep.
In conclusion, if it weren't for the attics I would give it 4/5 since it is a three star category.
For the attic experience (to be reviewed and improved) my rating does not exceed 3/5.
The staff is very kind and above all very kind, they came to help us by making dinner for my wife who couldn't eat everything, really very friendly.
The highlight is the SPA (Turkish bath, hydromassage tub with jets, emotional cold/hot shower and sauna), very well-kept, clean and modern.
The location is also excellent, a few meters from the town center of Pescasseroli and the slopes, with a pretty good view of the mountains.
Great stay!!!
In order not to make someone suspect for a personal interest to my strong endorsement for this hotel I will say that I find the room small not only the reception, but everything does not have the power to move one iota as favorably found and promised for the next few years in Pescasseroli.
New rooms and environments, has great potential, but the quality is very low, both meals and services. The sheets were very old and worn, holes in the sheets and quilt, even the blanket was dated and an insect came out of the bed, indicating little care.
Definitely disappointing spa.
Appearance shows something that does not really match, there is not the right match between the price paid and the quality offered.
