We were welcomed and assisted with kindness and a thousand attentions by the owner and all the staff. The property is well maintained and is located about 800 meters from the center which is within walking distance with a pleasant walk. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotless. Our room was also equipped with a terrace equipped with sunbed, table and chairs and overlooking the beautiful panorama of the area and the wonderful garden that graces the hotel. The pleasant surprise we had in trying the restaurant: excellent cuisine with refined dishes executed to perfection and lots of choice. A special mention deserves the desserts that are definitely delicious. Breakfast with a good selection of both sweet and savoury products. All this with excellent value for money.

We were guests of the property for five days.
Excellent location a stone's throw from the center of Pescasseroli, reachable on foot.
The rooms are very clean and with attention to detail.
The staff is extremely kind and helpful with requests.
Excellent food cooked with taste, very good and, not to be taken for granted, the desserts.
The property has a recently built spa. The spaces are large but the very pleasant thing is that you can access by booking and for single use of one room at a time, therefore you can use the services alone.
Strongly recommended!
We hope that in the future authenticity and taste for beauty will not be lost!

I stayed at the Edelweiss Hotel for 1 week with my family.
The experience was overall very positive.

In particular, I point out the excellent cuisine of Azzurra. Lots of variety in dishes, menu also for celiacs.

The owner Fulvia was very helpful and kind to solve some of our requests. The rooms are not very modern. The qualitative leap could be achieved by intervening on these. Recommended.

Small and neat family-run hotel, surrounded by a lovely garden and a spacious car park.
Distance from the center calculated at 1.3 km which corresponds to about twenty minutes of walking, not all of which is flat.
Overall acceptable stay in a quiet environment with good customer care.
Excellent point: the cuisine and the dessert buffet. Congratulations to the chef cook!
So-so (venial) points: cleanliness is acceptable, although I noticed that at breakfast they don't always change the tablecloth from the previous dinner. Acceptable room service, apart from the unpleasant impression, once in bed, of finding our pajamas piled up under the pillow.
The minibar is not free, on request you pay €2.50 per day (even if they didn't take it into account).

We stayed in the last available room, one of the four cramped and uncomfortable rooms in the attic. We had no other choice. We couldn't imagine that, scorched by the mid-August sun and without air conditioning, the room, still hot and muggy at night, would have forced us to open the window until dawn before falling asleep.
In conclusion, if it weren't for the attics I would give it 4/5 since it is a three star category.
For the attic experience (to be reviewed and improved) my rating does not exceed 3/5.

Arrived on 05/25/2024 at the facility. Leaving aside the rest, it all started from the SPA where after 20 minutes the floor began to flood up to the ankle so moving around was very dangerous without safety, my husband even slipped without consequences fortunately. The water even reached outside the spa and into the changing room, there was a sign there where it was written that they did not assume any kind of responsibility for fractures etc. Once out we preferred to shower in the room. When we entered the room there was no hot water and we waited about ten minutes but it didn't arrive and my husband went down to the reception to speak to the manager who, after checking the system, told us that it was working and we had to wait for 10 minutes. After more than an hour of waiting and requests for explanations, the owner said that the fault did not depend on the hotel. The most serious thing is that no alternative was offered such as changing rooms or showering in other rooms and therefore we decided to leave after the first night of the three booked. It takes respect for customers and being treated this way is not acceptable.

The room represents the three star classification of the hotel, retro furniture, slightly old bathroom fittings but on the other hand it must be said that it is very clean.
The staff is very kind and above all very kind, they came to help us by making dinner for my wife who couldn't eat everything, really very friendly.
The highlight is the SPA (Turkish bath, hydromassage tub with jets, emotional cold/hot shower and sauna), very well-kept, clean and modern.
The location is also excellent, a few meters from the town center of Pescasseroli and the slopes, with a pretty good view of the mountains.
Great stay!!!

In Pescasseroli I went in previous years to other hotels not knowing the Edelweiss. Is it enough to say that from now on my stays in Pescasseroli will always be here? Absolutely not to say that the others we stayed in were not valid at all. But this has a personalized surplus : the hotel is organized in a radiant, bright and efficient spirit that are the mirror of the personality of the owner Fulvia, friendly and helpful from the moment you put your luggage on the floor by presenting yourself at the desk of the small reception. We met in the central square of Pescasseroli a couple of friends who were staying in another hotel also nice and we promised to spend another weekend together this time: I made the condition that the hotel is ours of the Edelweiss.
In order not to make someone suspect for a personal interest to my strong endorsement for this hotel I will say that I find the room small not only the reception, but everything does not have the power to move one iota as favorably found and promised for the next few years in Pescasseroli.

Very nice structure, really very nice staff, but among all those tried in the area is the only one I would not return. It is not meant to be gratuitous criticism but constructive in full respect.
New rooms and environments, has great potential, but the quality is very low, both meals and services. The sheets were very old and worn, holes in the sheets and quilt, even the blanket was dated and an insect came out of the bed, indicating little care.
Definitely disappointing spa.
Appearance shows something that does not really match, there is not the right match between the price paid and the quality offered.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Edelweiss. The hotel is really cute, well maintained and recently renovated, as well as being located in an excellent position, very close to the slopes. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The private spa was a real gem and the entertainment team was always present and ready to assist. Mario, Marco and Angelo immediately won the hearts of our girls. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning
