A wonderful place that perfectly reflects the wonder of the naturalistic context in which it is located.
Everything is just perfect. The rooms are spotless and with attention to the smallest detail, also and above all with respect for the environment. The entire structure is clean, well-kept and designed as if it were a real mountain chalet. People are the jewel in the crown of this reality. The cleaning ladies are very sweet and very professional. Laura at the reception always smiling and ready to help you and satisfy you. And then there are Daniel and Antonella who with their friendliness, availability and friendliness show you how in life the owner is not a boss, but knows how and can be a leader: having taken off the clothes of the reception and the front office, they put on gloves to clean the bar sink or the waiter's uniform to serve tables during breakfast or dinner, together with the highly trained dining room staff. Daniel and Antonella are tireless, always present and attentive in an affable manner, to guarantee guests 360' comfort and relaxation. Thanks to the promptness and availability of Daniel and his staff, I also managed to give my husband a delicious surprise in his room!
The value for money is super: we ate divinely and stayed in a super nice room
Highly recommended.

Iris Hotel is an excellent 3Star hotel. The rooms are reasonably well equipped and comfortable if a bit basic. The restaurant is not brilliant. After eating there the first night we went out ever other night. Our stay was three nights.
Whilst the hotel was basic the staff and management were amazing. One of our number was taken ill whilst we were there but two of the staff took her to the local clinic and made sure she was seen, acted as interpreters and took them to the Pharmacy.
After this they helped us with restaurant choices and bookings and advised us on walks through the national park.
Go there the staff will make your stay in the Abruzzo national park a much better experience.

In our second stay in Pescasseroli in the last 3 years, we chose this structure discovered a bit by chance and a bit because it met our family needs. The property is located not in the center but a few minutes from it.
We loved the care and cleanliness of the common areas outside and inside where you could breathe informal air and home, what you need for a family on vacation! Perhaps the playroom should be modernized and remodeled a little while the playroom for younger children offered many pastimes for children of all ages.
Restaurant always well arranged and clean with the waiting staff attentive to the needs and requests of guests. My pregnant and nickel-allergic wife received all the appropriate treatments in a perfect way, which unfortunately was not obvious. The food was exceptional in all 3 dinners we had in our living room: every night different choices, varied and even sought after with a high quality of products and well presented dishes, we never came out on an empty stomach indeed, always well satiated! Maybe the savory part of the breakfast should be reviewed a bit (there was no bacon but the sausages, exceptional cheeses perhaps instead of eggs) but the sweet part was not missing anything indeed, excellent croissants!
Very kind and very attentive reception staff always attentive to our requests, a separate mention goes to the animators present in the structure practically 24 hours a day: they never missed a word to my daughter who has always felt involved in activities and not only, but also to us parents, the evenings animated them to perfection and during the day if you find them around in the garden or in the reception there was never a word and a chat of attention and interest to make you feel at home!
The room was not great but still we adapted well to its size and had all the amenities and was cozy. Perhaps it should be modernized because the style although in tune with the environment of Pecasseroli, in the mountains, appeared a bit 'old style', for example the radiators appeared a bit' dated as well as the furniture in general. It doesn't matter since we were there very little.
Finally, very honest value for money given the quality of the food and how the structure presented itself, definitely a great discovery in Pescasseroli and I think that if I had to stop with my family I would definitely return!

We stayed at the Hotel Iris in February and it is the third consecutive year that we have chosen this structure which I consider to be the best in many respects:
it is a family-run hotel and at every moment you can feel the passion of this family whose sole objective is to make its customers feel good. The staff is very professional, helpful and courteous. Furthermore, the food is excellent, the dishes are varied and delicious and the breakfast is rich and plentiful.
The rooms of the hotel are very comfortable and well maintained by the cleaning staff who pay attention to the smallest details, praise must also be given to them and to the waiters who are always kind and ready to solve any problem.
We cannot fail to mention the entertainment staff with Mario (Marione) and Mariarca, very good and very nice, who brightened up our evenings by involving us in funny gags and singing competitions.
This property is 10/10 and I highly recommend it.
Thanks to the whole Hotel Iris family for pampering us and making us forget the stress of the city for a few days.
We will certainly see you soon!

I stayed in this hotel for a few days with my family and two children aged 3 and 1 year. Everything was perfect: the services, the staff, the room, the restaurant. Friendly and available staff for any need, spaces for children both inside and outside, also available to help us prepare meals for children. Excellent cuisine, very nice and spacious room! The location is also convenient for reaching various points of interest and the town center can be reached in a 10-minute walk. We will gladly return there at other times of the year when they also have an entertainment service available!

The Hotel Iris in Pescasseroli, in reality, is not a hotel. It's an experience of love, it's great generosity towards guests, it's the perfect holiday.
The merit of the unique welcome is the care of a family who gives their heart to a job they love. And this great care can be seen in a thousand things: kindness, meeting every guest's request, the very high quality of the cuisine, the richness of the breakfast, always putting children first!
There are a thousand things worth mentioning: the cakes, the tarts, the morning donuts... these delicious and light homemade desserts! But how do you do it? The variety of breakfast gets you off to a good start and with chef Daniel's creations, it rounds off your dream holiday day in harmony.
Rossella, Daniel, Domiziana, Antonella, Mauro, Catia and their entire team are an example of great generosity towards their guests. Towards us, who feel truly pampered and experience the perfect holiday.
Here everything is organised, for example: as soon as you sit at the table, the dining room staff brings the dishes without making you wait even a minute!
How much care, how much love you have for your guests! The mountain excursions you offer and all the activities and workshops for children: gardening, kites, salt dough, music, singing, pony rides, Nutella party, crafts under the trees, in the fresh air and in the evening the baby dance. The engaging and stratospheric animation of Marione, artist, singer, great showman (and life!).
We are lucky to have met you, thank you for welcoming us!
You are all tireless and generous to make us feel good and you completely succeed!!!

Spent 5 days at Hotel Iris. I really appreciated the possibility to choose between sweet and savory and varied breakfast. We were on the third floor and there is an elevator. The presence of the bar where you can stop for a coffee or a bitter even after dinner is appreciated. Friendly and always available staff. You can leave your car right in front of the entrance to unload your luggage.

The hotel is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Pescasseroli, right in front of the Vallecupa riding school. Ideal for relaxing and entertaining children with horses. The center of Pescasseroli is easily reachable on foot (just over 1 km) or with the bicycles provided by the Hotel. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, convenient private parking, a small playground, a toy library, a games room and provides a free baby club service in the morning, afternoon and evening. It goes without saying that with a 5 year old, the baby dance after dinner was a holy hand that contributed to our relaxation. Worth highlighting is the quality of the food offered at the restaurant. We did half board and I must say that the food was excellent. But the thing we liked most was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They always tried to accommodate our requests and were very helpful in providing directions and advice on things to see in the area, especially with a small child. We had such a good time that we plan to return next winter. If I really have to nitpick I have to admit that the rooms are a bit small, but they are still equipped with every comfort.

Even though I knew the area very well and had visited countless facilities in the Park, I still didn't know this hotel. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed with my family on a half-board basis, and apart from my daughter's joy in seeing her favorite riding school and "his" horses directly from the room I must note the great cleanliness and great comfort of the room. Furthermore, the dinner was truly extraordinary with chiatarre with meat sauce worthy of a starred chef, the breakfast was no different. Staff: professional and friendly. We will definitely be back, it deserves the 4th star!

We stayed 4 days in this beautiful hotel. The staff is very kind and the environment is warm and welcoming.
The rooms are warm and elegant, the hotel restaurant truly exquisite. Good and plentiful breakfast, the dishes offered for dinner were all delicious. The hotel has a games room for children that is always open and accessible under the supervision of parents (a salvation for those traveling with children like us) and one for adults with billiards, table football and table tennis, as well as various board games to spend time in the hall warmed by the fireplace.
Furthermore there are two entertainers who organize activities for children and group trips for guests who are always available and kind.
