This was the perfect place to stay. It was our first visit to Tuscany, and we absolutely loved it. From the Tenuta you can explore the whole region, but you really will want to just stay and enjoy the gorgeous views, walk along the paths around the house, read a book by the fire (swimming pool is beautiful, but was...

In Tenuta Chiudendone - positioned halfway between Pisa and Florence - are represented those who in our imagination are the characters of the best Tuscany. You will find therefore tall cypress trees, hills, quiet, lush vineyards, then olive trees and fresh air. The two present villas have been recently rebuilt on the remains of aristocratic apartment blocks: in the main...

We had a wonderful 5 day stay. Isabella and Francesco are wonderful hosts. The upstairs apartment is light and airy with wonderful views. The location is fantastic, close enough to near by villages for all your needs but far enough to feel you are in a remote paradise. Isabella and Francesco made helpful suggestions on wonderful restaurants, how to get...

We had a great time at Tenuta Chiudendone! A beautiful place, nice appartment with a lot of space, marvellous view, beautiful swimming pool. Francesco and Isabella are very friendly hosts. You really should try there own wine and oil, also when possible you can try other products of their land. We for example could taste their artishokes. Lots to do...

This is a lovely property, both luxurious and casual, set on a beautiful farm. The hosts, Isabella and Francesco, are warm, interesting and attentive. They live on the property and are available for advice, but they also afford you all the privacy you wish. The property is just as shown in the photos-- maybe better. Driving to surrounding towns for...

Large luxury apartment with nice details and beautiful paintings on the wall. The owner Francesco and his Isabella are really nice people. And they have a sweet dog. Good terrace. You can pick herbs and vegetables from their garden!

I can see that many other reviewers have also described Tenuta Chiudendone as perfect, but this is truly the only word to describe a stay at this extraordinary property. My sons and I stayed here for 3 nights during the Tuscany part of a 9 day trip to Italy. Isabella and Francesco could not have been more helpful in our...

Like many reviewers we fell for Tenuta Chiudendone as soon as we arrived in mid October. Stunning scenery, a beautiful property and hosts (Francesco and Isabella) who made you feel like long lost family. Our boys had space to play and explore whilst we had time to simply relax. The views, sunsets .... this really is Tuscany at its best....

“Es gibt 2 Apartments, beide haben wir jemals eine Woche bewohnen können. Mir persönlich hat das obere Apartment besser gefallen, aber das im Erdgeschoss hat dafür mehr Charakter. Beide sind aber sehr gut ausgestattet, es fällt an nichts. Ein eigener Kräutergarten steht jedem Gast zur Verfügung - absolut Klasse!”
