Lovely little campsite with clean toilets/showers. It's quite a basic place, there was no hand soap and you had to pay for the showers, but the site was in a great spot, and the staff were really friendly. Would go again, but it would be quite expensive with more than one person..

Visited Edale with my girlfriend over the Easter weekend with my girlfriend for my first ever camping trip, which surpassed my expectations thanks to the wonderful landscape and this lovely campsite. The site itself offers flat pitching locations at various elevations, and we were lucky enough to pitch in a quiet corner near a stream. The staff were friendly and...

Stayed here over the Easter weekend. We have previously stayed here and we're looking forward to seeing the new improvements that had supposedly been made, had read that they have new toilets, drying room and other facilities however these have not yet been completed. As it was a very wet and cold weekend, the drying room was a necessity however...

we paid the price for a convenient base to walk Kinder Scout over a bank holiday weekend; Fri-Mon £75 for car, tent and 3 people! and most who stayed on the site did not stay the whole weekend, neither of which did we. Never paid so much to camp.. However.. pitches were on lush grass, we had one next to...

An introduction to camping and some important family time with my daughter, brilliant well kept site, friendly staff and excellent area for walking. Good pubs serving quality food and a couple of shops for essentials

Fabulously located, 10 mins walk from the train station. But far away enough away that all you can see is countryside. Lovely staff in the check in office. Tents only which was a nice change. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy although the showers are a bit complicated to use but it was good temo when it gets...

Well my boyfriend & I have just returned from a lovely long weekend stay at Fieldhead campsite. On arrival we were greeted by staff & all rules were explained clearly. We had the choice of many sites to pitch our tent. The toilets & showers were clean & as we'd sensibly checked the website we knew we needed 20ps!!. We...

We've just returned from a fantastic family holiday at this campsite. Campsite is clean with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Perfect for families as the noise curfew is 10.30pm until 7.30am and has generally been adhered to when we've been there. This was our 3rd year in a row and wouldn't go anywhere else, we first went when our...

I wanted to take my four children for an adventure....to go somewhere new and climb some mountains. Coming from Norfolk the children loved the idea. We do camp a lot in Norfolk, my husband is usually working so i am usually on my own with the children and dog and camping locally has the added security of someone who can...
