This is our second visit this year last time was us and another couple. This time there were four couples. There are only five rooms so as a group it was brilliant. There was another couple in the only spare room who was attending losehill hotel for a wedding, they joined in our company and we believe had a fantastic...

It is impossible to say anything negative about Philip and Vivienne's wonderful establishment.....almost!! Philip's detailed instructions on a local walk along the valley led my wife and I to come to a halt amidst the bracken where the "scenic detour" abruptly ended. 30 years ago we would have rather enjoyed the hidden clearing we came upon but alas anno domini...

Had a great 3 night stay. Cannot fault hospitality. Out for the day and always a request if we would like tea on our return ( slice of cake included ) first morning a little daunting as all guests around one big table but it actually works and you make friends with people. Breakfast is a wonderful experience ( even...

This is our favourite B&B and have been coming for many years. This year we decided to visit in summer and it was great to see the beautiful gardens and flower displays. Everything was as good as usual and we were made to feel really welcome. We always leave this place wishing we were staying longer. We brought our little...

Just back from our fourth visit. Our first visit was ten years ago and is still as brilliant as ever. On arrival, you are greeted with tea and home made cake (served in the garden if you are lucky with the weather) The rooms are immaculate and look out over Lose Hill at the start of the Peakland Ridge. Breakfasts...

We visited for our second time recently, this time with a family visitor from the USA. Everything was as we remembered. It is a done-to-death cliche, but this really is home from home. The accommodation is lovely, comfortable and full of little extras, like fresh milk in a fridge in your room. Tea and cake is offered every afternoon, when you...

Beautiful location, excellent property, wonderful owners and a reasonable price. I know this sounds gushing but Underleigh house deserves it. The property is on a quiet lane one half mile from it's end. The lane is single track, so you may need to do some maneuvering, but that only happened once in our 4 day stay. It is a worthwhile...

We travel extensively and Underleigh House is exceptional. Vivienne and Phillip are consummate professionals combining charm and efficiency. When we arrived we were offered tea or coffee and cake of the day. We stayed in the Derwent suite. It had a bedroom, shower room (room for two) and lounge. It was nice just to sitting in the lounge and absorbing...

Phillip and Vivienne catered to our every need from tea and cake in the afternoon to looking up sites and helping with directions....they are unusual hosts!
