We were on our way from Budapest to Prague and stayed on the off-chance at Hotel Dukla for a night's rest. Stayed there for a night en route to Austria. If you are interested in Soviet-era architecture, you might find this place very educational! As for me, I found it a good, cheap place to stay with my family, for one night only!

“Their currently renovating their rooms. Choose one of the unrenovated ones for price-value, it's old communist-era, but everything works, it's well maintained and super-clean.”

“Unless you're interested in a socialist-style hotel experience (could be interesting, though), get one of their renovated rooms ("zrekonstruované").”
