We recently spent 3 nights at Tiskita and had an outstanding visit. This is not your typical high-end resort. It is an opportunity to visit and understand the rich biodiversity of this remote part of Costa Rica while staying in comfort and having a chance to meet and talk with the owners. The living arrangements are very comfortable with very...

We have just returned from our 7 night stay in Tiskita and have already booked for next year .OMG Our experience was amazing . Reading the reviews of other recent travellers, you will see that most visitors agree. We flew in with Carmon Air from San Jose and would highly recommend this method if your stay in CR is short.From...

This was the first time we have ever returned to a holiday destination- on our first visit in 2016 we fell in love with this lodge and we both felt compelled to go again. It felt like taking a risk- we worried that we could never recreate the perfect time we had on our first visit. Our worries were unfounded-...

A really great experience and well worth the trip down south. Host Peter has had an amazing life and truly interesting to listen to. We also found SANSA airline to be fine, taking 3 flights with them. Worth photographing the site map before you go out as there are so many trails to follow. Also take a torch, as the...

This was our second adventure to Tiskita. The amazing biodiversity quiet serene cabins and excellent staff brought us back. We were awarded with wonderful views of wildlife and endless hikes through the forests, orchard and beaches. This is truly a unique destination where nature can be seen as it was meant to be. There are many ways to arrive at...

No one wanted to leave Tiskita Lodge after 6 nights for our yoga adventure. The hosts were perfect and made us feel special and like family. The staff, including the guide, Mario, and the volunteers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There is plenty to do, as our group of 18 found out. The food could not have been better as well...

We were treated to a fantastic tour of the jungle and beach on horseback. We have been to this area many times but never checked out Tiskita. If you are in the Zancudo/Pavones area, you MUST go to Tiskta.

The combination of staying in the tropical forest, and being able to walk to a great Pacific beach, sets this place apart. The accommodations are terrific, and the owners and staff are uniformly helpful. Could anything beat squirrel monkeys 3 ft. away watching you eat breakfast? Food is well-prepared and "tipica" to Costa Rica. We would return again in a...

Excellent Jungle lodge with an abundance of wildlife. Arrived by air, landing on a grass runway. Within minutes say Tuncan, monkeys and macaws. Rooms were clean and well kept. Fans but no air conditioning which was not really an issue. The restaurant was good and the staff excellent. One evening watch as baby turtles were released into the ocean. very...
