We had a seminar just recently and we were booked at the Terrace Villa which was very quiet and cozy. The staff are very accommodating and the ocean view provided peace and calm. So ideal for work and leisure.

3 days before my flight, I get an email from the hotel saying the pool is closed for maintenance. No closure date or reopening date given. Too late to change my booked suite. This is crap. The website needs to post a notice. The hotel needs to comp this room. No excuse.

Pros: Staff and the view of ocean/mountains. Cons: pool was under "emergency maintenance" although it probably hasn't been open in years. No beach or pools. Not as clean as we would have liked (beer bottles lying around outside, dirty tables), room was clean enough but nothing amazing. Breakfast was basic. Not sure if there's anywhere else better around though. Overall... More

Facilities are run down and in need of maintenance and repairs with some existing damage from dynamic remaining. Pools are not in operation and are awaiting repairs. Rooms are very basic and not reflective of advertising. Staff are very... More

Don't book a cottage - they are old and mosquitos get in them, Don't expect WiFi in your room nor a modern flat screen TV with good reception. Don't even expect a modern room. But the staff are very polite and helpful, the food (especially the buffets) are excellent and the location is very good, peaceful and quiet with no... More

Tacloban is very limited for hotels. When we arrived it was very quiet for the hotels size. prices where on the mid range side, without any other options we stayed here. Rooms where OK, lack of amenities and they wanted to charge us to use the pool.

We spent two nights there. I found the rooms to be spacious and clean. I loved the fresh air lobby as well as the swimming pool. I also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. This is where I stay in Tacloban from now on,

Quite a nice and friendly hotel. Problem here is the overpriced and lack of western breakfast. We stayed for 5 days, we went down for breakfast "Twice" On a good note, the rooms and bungalows are excellent, the pool, fantastic with friendly staff, great room service.
