Hotel is the closest hotel to Yazılıkaya, even you can walk. View from hotel is beautiful, you see whole Hattusas infront of you. Mehmet Bey (owner) and all staf was very sincere, friendly, they did everything to make us happy. Hotel is surrounded by sunflower fields. Rooms are clean and spatious.

We called in here for a late lunch after visiting Yazilikaya. Basically, the hotel was open but not really expecting anyone. That could be said of much of rural Turkey out of peak season in a terrible tourist year; many places were just plain "shut". However, the response to our arrival was outstanding. The owner mobillised staff in record time...

The husband and wife team who runs the Kale Hotel made our stay here very pleasant. The breakfast was good and you can also have a wonderful home cooked meal in the evening. The rooms and bathroom is dated but very , very clean with good bedding and comfortable beds. Asked for a front room with balcony as the views...

The owner was very nice and received us as soon as we drove in to the car park in front of the hotel, and helped us with luggage. He speaks adequate English and we had no problem communicating. We were the only guests, and his wife cooked dinner and breakfast. Her home cooking is excellent! Room is spacious with a...

I chose here because I'm on foot and this was middle distance between the main ruins, the religious ruins, and the museum, each a 2km walk. Also it has a good enough restaurant and the staff speak sufficient english, so it had everything I needed. Plus the hotel and restaurant are both good value. The view from the valley facing...

The Kale Hotel is simple but clean very comfortable. The rooms facing Hattuşas have balconies with a great view of the old citadel. Their dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The service was very good.

Plan your trip to the magnificent Hattusa so that you have time to go to another town for the night. Bogazkale has little to recommend it. It is a depressed little town and lacks charm. Enjoy Hattusa and it's museum in town and then move on. Kale Hotel is clean, but very basic. It needs a good dose of TLC...

This place is perfect for your visit to Hattusas and Yazilikaya; and actually exceeded our expectations. The area is very nice and quiet, a bit outside of the village but walkable to Hattusas. Disagree with the review that called the rooms Spartan (unless things have changed). The rooms are very nice – clean and colorful, the linen in our room...

Kale hotel is near to ancient sites of Hattusas and Yazilikaya. The staffs are very friendly with nice greetings. The room is large enough for relaxation. Only water pressure is not acceptable. Private parking is available. Every morning you are served by fresh breakfast. I advise this hotel for 2 or 3 days for relaxation.

back for the second time and not sorry. A very warm welcome and attentive service. We took refreshments on the varanda with an uninterrupted view of the ancient city of Hattusha. We will be back again.
