We felt we were in our own private villa. This previous Greek manor house is a wonderful alternative to staying Selcuk while touring Ephesus. Set in the hillside behind the restaurant Dimitros in the village of Sirince, you are transported back in time. Breakfast is provided on the upstairs terrace overlooking the village with eggs, meats, toast and a selection...

I do understand previous reviewers comments about the charm of this place, the terrace breakfast, the entry, the period rooms etc. My problem - I do not believe they have executed this very well. We found the place somewhat shabby, with vegetation overgrown and not well tended. The room small and dark with scratchy sheets with patches and seams. Functional...

My husband and I had a very nice stay at Hotel Sirince Evleri. The owner Ahmet was very kind to us. We had time to chat with him and get an interesting perspective on the town and the region. He is very knowledgable about local history and tourism. The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. The terrace is...

Sirince is a stunning village, close to Selcuk and Ephesus, but with its own special character. It is very Turkish, but was originally Greek and the hotel is in a a pair of old Greek houses, with some wonderful views and rooms of great character. The hospitality is also special. Finding it is a bit of challenge.

The rooms are cozy and the location is right in the heart of the old town. Our neighbors were ancient houses, three geese, several chickens and a burro. All of which gave us a good laugh and a good story to tell. Close to local restaurants and an excellent wine shop. Beautiful views from the rooms upstairs. There is a...

The hotel is charming and in many ways, so is Sirence. The owner of the hotel is quite articulate in various languages (English for us). The views are wonderful. The hotel is in a 150 year old house with a steep staircase, ducks and chickens in the courtyard, charming statues and objects put together. But—and it’s a big but—the hotel...

Situated in a little Turkish village in the hills above Ephesus, we would certainly recommend the welcome we received here. After a busy day of travelling & sightseeing, it was a very relaxing place to chill out, walk around the village & enjoy the ambience. Our room in a tastefully refurbished old local stone house, was clean, comfortable & well...

The village of Sirince is old, beautiful and peaceful, and gives one a sense of Turkish village living. The hotel itself has the same charm. The hotel owner went out of his way to make our stay as sweet as possible, with helpful advice and excellent service. The hotel is highly recommended!

The hotel Sirince Evleri will remain in our memories as the most charming and pleasant place to stay in Turkey. Ahmet is a wonderful host, the breakfasts delicious on the picturesque terrace, and even the cat is friendly! We stayed in one of the small houses which was absolutely fascinating in its authentic Turkish decor, yet so clean and comfortable,...

“I booked a double for comfort sake, though I probably didn't need it, as I was traveling solo. I suggest the upper house, rather than the one on the main street in the village, as is quieter and offers a nice view of the valley.”

“We loved the house - two floors with sweet (narrowish steepish staircase) - two bedrooms: 1 upstairs (w. AC) & 1 downstairs(really good fan) - a comfortable sitting room w. well placed small fridge sink -tv & AC - lovely small courtyard in front - WC & shower - ideal for a family or two couples.”
