The room was clean, nice and the view from there was excellent. The owner was friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't service any breakfast (maybe we were only visitors and outside the season?) and the elevator was the slowest I have ever seen. Wifi was only in the lobby.
The air continuing didn't work at all so consequently inlaid awake all night sweating. The room was so tiny and it had no way to get any circulation through it. Don't go to this hotel in the summer! The breakfast was good but the dinner wasn't anything to write home about.
We spent one night here and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and a reasonable size, the staff friendly and the breakfast adequate with good coffee. One caveat is that the local youths seem to stay up all night at the weekend and a room at the back might be better. Recommended.
After a long day walking- what do you want- a decent bar with cold beer - a simple but comfortable room with a good shower. The Italia & Lombardi has just that. Followed next morning with avert good breakfast with excellent fresh white bread and great coffee. We also had a huge terrace wich made my smoking friend very happy!!
I stayed for 3 nights, with my college aged daughter, in May of 2011. This was an accidental find in a town we knew little of. The proprietors spoke very little English (and we spoke little Italian)...but they made every effort to assist and advise. We had an excellent room with an unfortunate view of a tiny courtyard - be sure to request a room looking south and east over the valley, a much nicer view. But we spent little time in the room, as the town is so engaging, not to mention the region. The nightly cost for the 2 of us was 72 euros, which included a great breakfast. The hotel also features a nice little bar on the side; we didn't use their full restaurant. The beds in our room were excellent, and the room was a nice size. EVERYTHING was clean clean clean. It's located a few dozen metres from a lovely public park, and across the street from the medieval town gate which invites immediate exploring.…
