Our group stayed at Palazzo Frigo this past year and it was absolutely an incredible stay. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and clean. Each suite room we had so much character along with having great window views of Montefiascone's charming town square as this hotel is right in the middle of it. The staff was gracious, professional, and kind the entire time starting from the moment we booked with them via email and until the end of our stay. This place also had a great rooftop area that had breathtaking view of the town and the nearby lake. Another great thing is it had a cute and convenient cafe/bar connected to the hotel that had wonderful evening tapas and drinks. This place is a must stay when visiting Montefiascone! I would highly recommend this place as THE place to stay here.

We stayed here for a night before meeting up with friends. The room we stayed in was fabulous and very spacious with a balcony overlooking the main square. Only sorry that we didn't stay here for longer. The roof terrace is amazing, peaceful with stunning views. Highly recommend this hotel.

It was amazing to find a hotel like this in the middle on an old village on a hill (at a very reasonable price). Our room is large and modern and we even have a Finnish sauna near our room :-) There's a photo taken from the big roof terrace.

We chose Palazzo Frigo on the advice of a very good friend (Hi Hillary) and we were delighted we did. The apartment we had was called the JUNIOR SUITE "GIADA" and consisted of an entrance hallway, sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. The entire apartment was furnished to a very high standard, was spotlessly clean & was very comfortable. It was also spacious with beautiful views. A newly created rooftop garden was available to all residents and it was large, pleasant, with beautiful flowers, comfortable furnishing & had outstanding views of the landscape, Motefiascone Square, the Cathedral & Volcanic Lake Bolsena (Lago di Bolsena). The Café and bar attached to the complex faced onto the water fountain in the square & had a large seating area outside with sun parasols which was a very relaxing area to enjoy while having a coffee or beer as you watched the world go by. One thing I would say about the Café was that the staff had little or no English (our problem as much as theirs I guess) so I found it quite difficult to communicate what I wanted for breakfast each morning. I would recommend that the language barrier in this instance could be very easily overcome if all the options available were pictured on the menus. We were fortunate enough to have had other friends staying in other hotels in the locale so I was able to see some of the different accommodation available in the immediate area. Without doubt, Palazzo Frigo was one of the better options available and was only a tad more expensive than the other hotels I got to view. There was no fixed reception at the Palazzo Frigo but the manager (Melcah) & her staff were really pleasant, friendly & were always checking with us to ensure everything was in order. They constantly reassured us they were readily available at anytime should we have needed any assistance, we never needed to call on them. I certainly would recommend the Palazzo Frigo to anyone intending to visit Montefiascone. Ronan & Josephine Mulveen, (Ireland).

The ultimate place to stay when you are in montefiascone! We got warmly welcomed by the girl Who worked there. She helped us with everything! Best service ever. The Room was big and very fresh. Minus could be the wi-fi , but it was fine, because you are there to enjoy the city not your phone!
