We just returned from a very enjoyable 2-week stay at the Blue Horizons Garden Resort. We stayed in a one-bedroom partial ocean view suite. It was very comfortable and the layout was excellent. The kitchen is well equipped with a modern, good-sized fridge and gas stove and all the necessary cutlery, utensils, pots and pans, etc. There is also a toaster, kettle and coffee maker. Coffee and tea aren't supplied, but we had brought our own, so that wasn't a problem. There is a table and chairs for dining inside, as well as a table and chairs on the balcony where we ate while enjoying the view and fresh air. There's a quiet air-conditioner as well as a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The suites are accessed by outside stairs, so if stairs are a problem, then mention this and request a lower level or a garden apartment when making a reservation. Everyone working at the hotel was cheerful and helpful (as was the case with everyone we met in Grenada). The hotel grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers and trees. The pool and lounge chairs looked good, though we never used it because we had come for the beach which is nearby. We ate dinner at the hotel three times and the food was very good and not expensive. Grand Anse Beach is about 5 minutes walk away. The beach is a couple of kilometres long and the water was about 28 degrees (Celsius) when we were there. We were always able to find some shade by some trees when we were at the beach. For a change, we also went a couple of times to Morne Rouge Beach and Portici Beach which were a 15 and 30 minute walk from the hotel. Both were very nice. (You go through the Laluna Hotel to get to Portici Beach.) There is a mall with a well stocked grocery store within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. The grocery store has a very good take-out counter with a large variety of food at very reasonable prices. We often bought food there and brought it back to our apartment for lunch or dinner. St. George's is a short minibus ride away and is very picturesque. We were recommended to eat at BB's Restaurant overlooking the Carenage (inner harbour) and did so three times when we were in town. It was very good. If you are looking for a very good, peaceful hotel and don't want an all-inclusive resort, then we highly recommend the Blue Horizons Garden Resort.

Blue Horizons Garden Resort is magnificent! Breathtaking estate with exquisite, eco-friendly design and maintained by welcoming and compassionate groundskeepers. The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful with recommendations. Beautiful bungalow with all the comforts. Highlight were conversations poolside with Arnold Hopkin, the owner and Grenadian proprietor who is a gem of a man and leader. 10/10 recommend Blue Horizons to friends and look forward to returning again soon!

Beautiful! We stayed for the last two weeks of August 2021 and had fabulous weather and only a few showers. Well appointed accommodation - beautifully maintained - and to a high specification. Pool and bar area first class with high class sun beds and parasols. The restaurant was closed due to Covid, but the modern pool bar served food and drinks all day, and room service was also available. Mix of apartments and bungalows nestled in amazing landscaped gardens. Very well appointed with all mod cons inc air conditioning, huge comfy beds and everything you need in a kitchen. Supermarket was only a short walk away, and beach easily accessible within in 5 minutes. Some apartments with sea views are quite high up and a level of fitness is essential. We opted for garden view lower down because of mobility issues, and that suited us. The staff of Blue Horizons - owned by Arnold Hopkin - are all exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Arnold himself is often around, and happy to chat about the island and suggest places to visit. He has bee hives on site and makes the most delicious honey, a bottle of which we brought home. My husband wants to import the stuff because it is so nice! We spent sometime at the beach bar on the nearest beach, and a couple of very enjoyable evenings there, being entertained by a steel band, and a saxophonist. Fun nights. Not being great lovers of the beach, we opted to spend a lot of time by the pool, and had it very much to ourselves most days, sipping cocktails :) We will go back, but next time we will hire a car on a couple of days to explore other parts of the island. While we had a taxi for an island tour, it would be nice to have the freedom of our own wheels (even though you take your life in your hands on the roads over there!) crazy drivers - little road etiquette!

Room Tip: Grenada is only 21 x 12 miles and is basically a volcanic rock. It is therefore very hilly away...

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful resort. The buildings and rooms are older, but very nicely maintained. The property spread out on a hillside so many rooms have an ocean view. The pool area was very nice and you could also walk to the beach in about 5 minutes. We had dinner by the pool a couple of times and the Blackened Mahi was excellent. From the time we set foot on the property until we got ready to leave, the staff took really good care of us. Upon check-in we were greeted by the owner and received a complimentary Rum Punch and a garden tour. I would like to come back here again.

Stayed here for 8 nights. Apartment with a sea view - lots if steps but you could go the long route to avoid them. Check out the room location if you have limited mobility when booking. Nice poolside bar/restaurant & food pretty good Staff were excellent and friendly despite the shadow of Coronavirus with it's obvious impact on their livelyhoods. When the situation returns to some normality, this is the place to stay in Grand Anse at a fair price.
