Pros - quite cheap, very good bar downstairs with decent live music, friendly enough staff. Cons- Had to wade through filthy ankle-deep water down a long alley to enter. Kitchen had no washing liquid, towels, plates, mugs or bowls & was filthy - residents seemed to have given up on life with the exception of the stereotypical screaming drunk English...

Good points were as follows.....relatively inexpensive, will store luggage, clean linen, close to Sydney airport....bar shut at 11 p.m. Not so good points are ......Bar......this is definitely a party place.....topless barmaids.....loud....pounding music.....not for families for sure.....feels very "edgy" Room.......musty smelling, no telephone, no alarm, security not apparent. How did this place get 4 stars on Trip Advisor .....earlier on ????

Is a good place to stay if u wanna party. It's not far from the bus and tram station. The Girls room is kind of renovated. The other rooms are ok. It's sure not the best Hostel i've ever been but i had lots of fun.

Great place to stay if you want to party! There was a fight amongst some of the patrons whilst I was staying and everyone was banished to their rooms and not allowed out (with threat of immediate eviction if anyone strayed into the common room) which was a very odd way of dealing with the scrap. Not been banished to...

I was pleasantly surprised by check in to departure was all very easy and the rooms are clean and the beer down stairs is nice and cold, we had a nice charcoal chicken dinner across the road which was very good value and taste. The hotel is about a $15 dollar taxi fare from the domestic terminal and at $130...

I was pleasantly surprised with this hostel. My reasoning for staying there in the first place was that it was the cheapest in the area at that time. Although it wasn't the cleanest (but far from dirty) the staff did everything to ensure we had a great stay. We received a free drinks voucher on arrival, the staff helped us...

Up in Sydney to watch the football. This hotel is within walking distance of the Allianze Stadium. Its a great buzz with all the away fans gathering before marching to the game. Great range of beer and better than average pub food. Might come back again as its a live band venue as well.

Staff were very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was good too. Although there seemed to be bands on downstairs every night we stayed, which wasn't the best when we were trying to sleep off jet lag! Rooms very average, not very clean. Bathroom was not clean at all, loads of hair and dust all over the shower floor, obviously was...
