Nice place to see the sunset, the spa is excellent. It's worth going to spend the day. The pool is amazing too. food is very bad. I went to the Christmas dinner and it was not only expensive, I also got sick.

I can only recommend treating yourself with the powerful biohacking they offer. Especially the Cryotherapy & sensory deprivation tanks. So many health benefits & pure relaxation. Afterwards we enjoyed the ocean view at the pool, it was my favourite start in my birthday in a long time!

We visited your place because it’s one of the best sunset points in Bali. And the sunset was really beautiful. But there are few points you must keep in mind: - the place is overrated, our general experience is average, - the mobile phones are not allowed inside. It’s not normal. I completely understand the philosophy and ideology of yoga and wellness places like that but if you ask your guests to switch the phones to airplane mode it will be fair enough. It’s ridiculous to restrict your customers to use phones as cameras. - your staff can be nicer and more quiet. It’s a little bit strange to ask your clients to keep silence when at the same time your staff is laughing, shouting and speaking loudly. - the food in the restaurant is overpriced an at the same time the policy with additional tax & service charges is not clear. Actually you have to add +21 % to each menu price. - also we were very disappointed when the waitress asked us if we like to add caramel topping to affogato coffee but did’t let us know that it costs some money in addition. So the place is a really amazing sunset point, with very positive vibes. But you can improve your services, guest communication and price policy.

Without a doubt The Istana is an amazing place to stay, everything was thought carefully and in detail. The only thing completely paradoxically is the food service that starts at 10am and finishes at 7pm. I just cancelled therapies to be able to have breakfast.
