I stayed at Eliassen Rorbuer in January as part of a group of 11 visiting the Lofoten Islands for a week long photography trip. We had booked 3 superior two bedroom cabins and each had two good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, clean and functional bathroom / shower and a well proportioned living / dining / kitchen area for relaxing...

We were there in low-season, end of November. Got an upgrade in cabin so we had an 8-persons cabin with the 3 of us. Best view ever at the most amazing nature of Reine and Lofoten. Really nice staff. We got there by bus from Svolvaer, there's a busstop close by. It's a nice walk to Reine.

Just excellent! Neat and clean, environment is idyllic and these cabins fit just right in. Really comfortable and a nice place to just relax. Be sure to visit Reine and enjoy the views at the Reinebringen hiking trail.

The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because of the thin walls. We had very noisy neighbors who were awake and loud until early morning hours. We would be awaken by them from our bedroom at all hours. However, not all rorbuers are attached. Ours was attached to another which was unfortunate only because of the...

The views from this fishing village are magnificent, and the rustic charm cannot be beat. Sitting on a small island above a rocky shore, one gets spectacular views of the Lofoten mountains rising up above the azure waters. The view from the bridge is post-card worthy. However, you need a car to drive around, even from here to Reine. The...

I have been visiting beautiful Lofoten several times and found this location to be one of the best in Lofoten. Take a look at my attached photos and you will understand! This area (Hamnøy-Sakrisøy-Reine) is the best part of Lofoten - and Lofoten is the most beautiful part of my country!! I stayed in cabin 4 “Willy-bua” cabin for three...

This was such an amazing vacation. And staying at Eliassen Rorbuer was the main reason. This little Island was in the perfect location. We had a chance to see the northern lights two nights out of the 3 we stayed. We stayed at room 23. It faced the half lake and the mountains. The view was amazing. Perfect for watching...

This was a very convenient and comfortable place to relax in after energetic walks up wild mountains. Kitchens were well equipped and very quiet. A little expensive by my usual standards, but so is most of Norway.

We stayed here for two nights recently. Kasia at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large with a separate living room. The view out our bedroom window was spectacular! It rained a bit while we were there but that was expected. I wish we had more time to explore this amazing location in Norway.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There is a place on Earth where the Sun never sets, the Northern lights never cease to amaze, and the landscape changes constantly, the wind never stops blowing and the people always smile. These are the Lofoten. Eliassen Rorbuer is a holiday resort with fishermen’s cabins, enjoying the longest tradition in the tourist industry in Lofoten. We offer accommodation in a traditional fishermen’s cabin camp, in the most beautiful western part of the Lofoten Islands. It is situated on the tiny island of Hamnøy in Western Lofoten, the Moskenes municipality. The island is the last one in the archipelago to have the road link. Currently the Lofoten Islands are mainly associated with fishing, which takes place from January to April, alongside the entire archipelago. All of our cabins are new renovated and got a new floor, kitchen, bathroom and furnishings. Welcome to refreshed Eliassen Rorbuer! ... more   less
