This is by far one of the best properties in Maldives. The manager Saaed n his team of extremely hard working staff - Sharaf, Shepon, Sultan, Mohammed, Fikri and everyone else will do literally everything
for your stay. E.g. Sultan snorkelled to find my phone in the sea bed - n successfully found it! Sharaf dashed from the hotel to the airport to return my forgotten property which i successfully hott just before boarding!
The food n kitchen staff did some very tasty meals especially for me as a vegetarian. The property benefits from a quite location so you cant hear flights early morning. Make sure you book it well in advance because this is the only property where you get great value for your money. Thank you wave sound team for my best holiday.

We stayed in this hotel during our diving vacation. The accommodation is clean and very comfortable. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and over the whole place you can be barefoot. So clean it is. Due to covid b-fast and dinner was limited selection thus we also went out. Hotel arranged transportation whenever we needed and also help us get car. The sea can be very low or high depends on the moon. Don’t expect to have sea level the same the whole day. On the other side Sunsets are stunning here.

It was an amazing experience, we stayed for approximately 2 weeks and the hotel staff was extremely accommodative.

The room was thoroughly cleaned and sanitised for COVID as well as staff adhered to proper precautions in place. The manager Layal helped us with all questions and was always present to help with anything. This was a wonderful experience and I look forward to another stay here someday!

3S wave sound is a beautiful home away from home. This boutique guesthouse facing the picturesque ocean in MaharaddoFeydoo, Addu city is definitely a must stay location if you are travelling to this gorgeous little Atol.

The staff (Syeed, Sultan and others) are excellent, friendly and took care of all our requirements during our stay. Rooms are clean, well maintained and have access to Wi-Fi. Centrally located in the atol, it makes for convenient travel around the islands, by walk, bike or cycle(which are easy rent outs at the resort).

They also have a restaurant with a pleasant and gorgeous sea view and food that is definitely the best in the islands. The chef (Rasheed) and his staff (Armaan, Jhumma, Maria, Patrik, Richard, Shirufaa and others) are always supportive and make a great team. All our meals were curated and styled differently each day. As vegetarians we were satisfied and happy to receive food made for us with a lot of care and smiles.

The icing on the cake is the dive center which they are associated with, Addu Dive. The key reason for us to come to Addu city was for our PADI Open Water Diving course and staying at the Wave Sound made the whole experience even better. Saleem, Maahdhi and Shaquib are easily accessible here. Going to the dive center or the port for taking the boat for dives is 5 minutes by walk from the WaveSound. More on Addu Dive in our review...

Right from our enquiry to last day of our stay we felt we were constantly being updated and all our questions answered by Layal. We look forward to coming back and spending more time in this amazing property. Here's to many more memories at 3S Wave sound in the future.

My daughter and myself visited wave sound for 5 days during December and January.
What a hidden gem. It is located on a local inhabited island in Maldives. We were met at the airport by Saeed the resort manager. We were welcomed at the resort with cool refreshing towels and a cold fresh coconut drink. We were shown to our room and introduced to stephon who was responsible for keeping our room clean. He did a brilliant job and always had a smile on his face. Nothing was too much effort for him or any of the staff. This is truly a place where you arrive as a guest and leave as part of the family. I highly recommend wave sound for a true get away and escape from the daily routine.

We stayed at Wavesound as we were diving with Addu Dive. The hotel is located on the beach near a calm lagoon that offers nice snorkelling. The rooms are very comfortable with a fantastic view over the ocean. The large desk and good lighting was a great help for me to set up my underwater camera! The only (very) minor critique is that the bathroom is a bit "functional" but it was certainly not a major issue at all.

The onsite restaurant is good with great outdoor seating by the sea. The prices are also very reasonable, and on par with other local restaurants that we checked out when we wanted a change of menu or atmosphere.

The staff were great. From the friendly and attentive restaurant staff to the hard working ground staff who kept the place clean and tidy, and our room attendant Sultan who was always refilling our water bottles and making up our room. The front desk manager Layal was very helpful as well. Both the hotel and dive shop (Addu Dive) were very good with communications, getting in touch with us to check our arrivals times, arrange pickups etc.

Its not a fancy resort but it certainly has a resort feel with cozy rooms and a fantastic location. And with only 7 rooms it never feels busy. Will definitely be our choice to stay if we are in Addu again.

PS: the lagoon in front of the hotel has extensive seagrass meadows. This is natural and is actually really nice to snorkel with lots of small animals as well as the occasional turtle and juvenile reef shark. There are also some nice corals further out to sea.

We have always wanted to stay in wave sound even during our last trip to addu for new year 2020, but it was fully booked. This time finally we got to stay in the most relaxing, beautiful place we have so far been to. The staffs were very attentive and friendly through out our trip. All the rooms were very clean, comfortable with sea view and the view is beyond fantastic. You can just relax in the room enjoying terrific view or you could relax on sun-bed while sipping a drink and enjoying breath taking view. There are couple of islands just few minutes away from the hotel where you could go for a picnic and enjoy. Midnight swim on a full moon night is a must try here. Its so relaxing and we did enjoy a lot and had great time during our short stay. I must say i will go to wave sound in a near future again 😀.

Together with my husband we stayed for 10 days at The Wave Sounds. We flew from Male International Airport to gan island and from here we were picked up by the gentlemen of The Wave Sounds. We enjoyed our stay. If we could turn it back, we would have stayed much longer. It is a wonderful place to relax and see everything about Male.

The atmosphere was calm, quiet and serene and it is the perfect place to relax. the rooms are clean and right nearby with a nice view of the private island. It's all yours. you will be helped very well by the staff. You just have to ask something and they will arrange it for you. And they are so kind. I can't say it often enough!

The local area is great for exploring with amazing diving and snorkelling. And you can rent a moped or can take a walk to see the view from other sides of the island. You can also spend a day at the Addu Nature Park. Magnificent. The Wave Sounds also has a restaurant near the guest house where you can eat well. And a diving school next to the restaurant.

I can tell you so much, but it is really worth it. We will come back for sure!

Sorry for my long review!

Outstanding hospitality and a lot's to explore in Addu City plus neighbouring islands. Sharaf and his team support on all arrangements like booking flights, arranging spectacular diving tours all with local independent business which I was more than happy to support while learning about local life and nature. Left Addu with super nice memories and after perfect rejuvenated rest. Ohh and culinary was just perfect…. fresh entire Tune, seafood and local menus versatile, delicious and local pricings. Entire package highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Maledives exploring…..

I booked Wave Sound by 3S for my diving trip in Addu Atoll. They are incorporating with Addu Dive Centre and the dive trips were arranged nicely.

Mr. Sharaf was contacting me before my journey, and arranging transfer from airport to hotel.

At the restaurant, friendly Sandeep had taken great care of all my requests, and Chef Jhuma cooked delicious food for guests.

Housekeepers Sultan, Mulla, Rajid, and others kept the room and hotel area clean. Could see them sweeping the floor most time of the day.

View from the room is nice, and can admire sunset. In front of the hotel, there is a huge area of seagrass (this made the beach with seagrass, but the staffs will clean it) and some hard corals, which is a great breeding ground for fishes. I met turtle and a lot of small fishes during snorkeling. Better to snorkel at high tide.

It was a pleasant stay here. Thank you to all the friendly staffs again.

Hello. I was just a visitor to this accomodation in January. The hotel offered a free of charge airport shuttle. There was a private bathroom in each room. We had a nice breakfast at the hotel but went for a dinner outside (restaurant around 15min walk from hotel with great food and cheap prices). Hotel also offered some trips - boat trip, barbeque, etc. You can also rent a bike for a day

Male int. airport is on a totally different island/attol. This accomodation is based in Addu Attol which one of thw most southern part of Maldivesl and the nearest airport is Gan Int. Airport. I am afraid you need to take another flight here which would be not cheap.
