Loved this place. Tucked away on a back road. Beautiful garden overlooking a river. Full of birds and bird song. Breakfast was superb. Presented with great care, attention and pride. Don’t pass up the Chiang Mai coffee. Our hosts were just so helpful with advice, tips and a ride when we needed it. You can walk out of the hotel to three local shops within 100m and then numerous street stalls on the main road within 5 minutes. We stayed mid week and did struggle getting both food in the evenings as most were shut. We will be returning.

We booked for 2 nights, stayed 4, and would have been happy with a few more. Our garden bungalow had a nice large room with a separate shower and plenty of hot water. The beds were softer than the usual hard plank Thailand beds. We slept well on them. The AC also worked well. We used the large fridge to keep beverages cold and enjoyed them on our patio overlooking the lovely garden filled with bird songs. There's also a rooftop terrace but no chairs up there and we couldn't be bothered to lug some up. Breakfast on the patio was a highlight; it's served based on your choice. Tea/coffee, real fruit juice, and water and some bananas to start. Yoghurt if you want. Then the main selection. We enjoyed huge omelets or scrambled eggs with bacon, there were other choices. But not done yet! Toast with the main. Then 2 more fruit plates with very nice selection including a couple local fruits we hadn't previously tried. And finally sticky rice with mangoes or bananas. We couldn't eat it all! The family that owns and runs the place are just the nicest hosts one could have. They drove us 10 minutes to pick up the scooter we rented and did the same when we returned it, bringing our luggage. The father started 20 years ago with a cornfield and built a paradise. Restaurants and 7-11 are in walking distance and the Khao Yai gate is about 10 minutes by scooter. We spent 2 wonderful days in the park and went to the bat cave on the 3rd evening after relaxing in the garden during the day. I can't say enough good about this place. It was perfect for us.…

This is a very quiet and silent place in the nature. The room was spacious and perfectly clean. Nice breakfast. The family who run the property is very welcoming and helpful, the son speaks fluent English and can be reached on whatsapp, very convenient to prepare your arrival. There's no transport in the area, a vehicle like a car or motorbike is essential to visit the area. The motorbike is really fun to drive in Khao Yai National Park. The park entrance is roughly 10 min driving.

We (2 adults, one child) stayed here for 5 nights in mid-December in a deluxe double room. It's such a tranquil setting: front porch overlooking a generous yard, next to a good size stream that runs near the base of the hills of Khao Yai National Park. It was our first time in Khao Yai and we had things we wanted to do, but the place is so peaceful we would have been just as happy staying there lazing the day away. It's well located, about a 5 minute drive to the main entrance of the park. Mr. Kow is a gracious and attentive host. Most days he greeted us upon our return and offered us juice and snacks. At breakfast the food is fresh and tasty, and they bring you several courses of it until you are stuffed to the gills. Mr. Kow was also happy to recommend dinner places for us (and directed us to an excellent Japanese restaurant). The only issue is English communication. Mr. Kow speaks some, but as long as you have google translate handy you will be fine. The Moosiyard is great value for the money, and if we go back to Khao Yai we would gladly stay there again. (In fact, we loved it so much my wife and son were complaining that we had to leave.) Can't recommend this place enough.…

Small resort with individual rooms set in a lush well maintained garden with a small river. Accommodation very clean and well equipped. Substantial breakfast with a good range of choices served overlooking the gardens. Owner provides a very personal and attentive service, and nothing was too much trouble. Great location and value for money. Highly recommended.

A group of us (9pax) booked a house with 3 rooms for 3 nights. Upon arriving on the 1st day at night around 8pm, the owner Mr Khao/Kao personally greeted us and welcome us to this homestay. He was very warm and accommodating to our group and even gave us some suggestions on where to go or where to eat. The toilet were clean and included basic amenities. Towels were fresh & did not smell which is important The rate includes breakfast set and the owner personally came to our unit to ask each of us what we wanted for breakfast the next day. The breakfast (even it was a set not buffet) was quite sustaining as it includes a plate of fried dough fritters and fruits plus not forgetting a wide range of instant hot drinks. I will not hesitate to stay here again if I come to K. Yai.

It is a very worth the money and experience stay in a house meant for 8 people. The view is good with a garden, a river and mountain in a distance. The owner is very friendly and would often go the extra miles to help us with your request on laundry and extra food. The place is well-maintained and the house has good facilities. I would go back there again to stay if I am back to Khao Yai!
