Location was very close to the venue I needed to attend, and close to the local Bell train station as well. The single room I had booked had all the basic amenities, bar fridge, shower, desk. The room may be somewhat cramped for taller visitors though.

Bed was comfortable and cosy to sleep in. Blinds could do with an upgrade but overall a pleasant stay. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay again. Perhaps a queen room a little overpriced.

When we arrived in our room we sat on the bed and one side of the bed sunk to the bottom when to reception to change rooms, had no issues with this but when we got the the other room mattress was the same. Got woken up at midnight by people in the corridor who seemed it appropriate to complain...

A pleasnt stay in Melbourne took a turn for the worse when an elderly member of our party injured her leg while out to dinner. When we arrived back to the hotel front desk staff were clever and resourceful in assisting her to her room. The next day they had a wheelchair waiting and advised us on nearby medical help....

Front office staff were helpful and polite. Bed was comfortable and clean. Room was very hot on arrival and air con could not be adjusted. Calls for help went unheeded. Carpets in hall and room very dirty. Lift un-vacuumed for the three days we were there. Limited menu and poor quality of food.

apart from a broken airconditioner, an iron but no ironing board and multiple calls to reception to get things sorted, it is an ok place to stay. close enough to the trains and a pretty good cafe / games area downstairs.

Very disappointed the room was like a shoe box My stay at the Breakfree in Coburg was very disappointing. The room was tiny and the bed wedged up against a filthy window frame and the window would not close. The room stank of cigarettes from the people who were smoking below. The air conditioning was old and falling apart.

The hotel is far from the centre of Melbourne and not great for a tourist in Melbourne. The train station is not far but it does take time out of your day. The restaurant closes minutes before 21h30 so if you are going to be late make sure you eat before you leave. There is not much in the area....
