The room was really unclean, the sink plug hole was blocked with hair and other material. The toilet was also a mess. The room was generally unclean when I arrived and the cleaners never visited whilst I was at work, I stayed for 5 days and the sheets were never changed and I had to request towels. The purchased wifi kept going off at night. The shower was low pressure and terrible. The place decor is miserable and dark. The women at the reception were friendly and helpful however one of the guys was not very helpful. I wanted to get rid of rubbish in my room due to the cleaners never cleaning my room I asked the guy at the reception to get take rubbish off me, he told me to put the rubbish in the car park bins.

It's a fantastic hotel with great staff, but the last 2 weeks the 2nd floor stinks of Canibis down the whole corridor, so either someone is dealing from the top floor is smoking it in the room and is that thick thinking no one can smell it shocking

I stayed on my business trip. After spending all day outdoor I really needed hot shower and warm bed unfortunately the max temperature in my room was 23C but it was nowhere near that. There was no spare blanket either. Someone next door was snoring so loud I was awake most of the night.

I’ve stayed in a few different Premier Inn location. Whilst not being luxurious, I am always happy with the rooms & facilities. The restaurant food is usually pretty good. Decent choice & quality. Whilst having the same menu as other Brewers Fayre restaurants, the evening meals were very poor quality & the service were not that attentive. Wi-Fi was absolutely terrible & was a struggle to get even then weakest service at points. Considering the current climate, I was surprised that none of the restaurant staff wore face masks. Having used different Premier Inn’s through this Covid era, I was surprised that on the last day of my stay as the government upped the threat level, this restaurant reverted back to the buffet style of breakfast!
