I had a very good stay here: the location was excellent, with a terrace overlooking Infernillo surf break, and the staff were great and worked hard (thanks Murilo, Paulo and Paula). The shared kitchen and board rental were a good bonus. I did think my private room was quite overpriced however.

I should, but I don't, write reviews of hostels and places where i stay. Possibly lazy, but not if there is a real 'standout' hostel and experience to match. Sunset Hostel really was that standout for me. I initially booked two nights in Sunset Hostel Pichilemu and ended up spending over one week here (I would definitely have spent longer...

The owner and manager keep this place very clean. The beds are comfortable, and they are so welcoming that you feel like you are visiting old friends. English and Spanish speaking management was very helpful as well. Great set up. Had a killer barbecue with other guests. Enjoyed sitting around a table of travelers from many countries. Thanks Sunset!

I stayed at the Sunset Hostel for three days and loved every minute. Friendly owner and manager that made me feel at home and friendly, relaxed guests to cook, play games, and surf with. Surf lessons with Clark are worth the money as he is a great teacher and patient when you tire of paddling. Equipment is in great shape,...

Nice hostel, really close to the beach. Clean, and with good common areas for this kind of hostel. Thanks to the man in charge, because he went back despite there was a tsunami alert, it was very kind, because if not, I would have to sleep in the car. Breakfast was good. They offer surf lessons and equipment rental

It's the best of all you get in Pichilemu! It's not directly in the city center (which as well is not that nice) but with perfect beach view. Walking distance to all, directly at the bus terminal, directly at the surfing points, so for everyone who is into surfing, a nice family atmosphere where everyone is welcome and part of...

I've been coming here most weekends for the past 6 months. I can't believe i'm only just leaving a review on TripAdvisor! Sunset has come to feel like my Chilean holiday house. There is always a great vibe here, I have met so many cool people from all over and made a bunch of friends. The owners and manager are...

We stayed about a week in January in this wonderful small hostel. The location is great if you want to stay close to the beach and not right in the middle of the action of Pichi. Everything you need is in walking distance though. Some restaurants are close by (and the by far best restaurant of Pichi 'Costa Luna' is...

Pichilemu's Sunset Hostal is pure happiness. Nestled right into the beach, it's a cosy, spotlessly clean, home away from home in a great location- within walking distance to perfect surf, restaurants, shops, transport links and mouth-watering ceviche and fresh juice stalls. The name's obviously a giveaway as to one of this hostal's big perks. Wrapped up on the decking with...

First of all, it's clean and has a decent breakfast: bread with jam, butter, deli meat and cheese. It's not great (yogurt and muesli would be better), but it was enough to give me enough energy to go out surfing at 9am and not feel weighed down. After all, if you're not surfing in Pichilemu or learning to, you'll probably...
