Everything was perfect- Very helpful and hospitable staff and great ambience. As we reached, Mr. Bhaskar received us and the housekeeping showed us to our rooms. Everything we required was urgently attended to. The food at Bhatbaan is the best in Assamese Cuisine we have ever tasted. The food at Scarlet flame was average. The desserts were awesome . We...

Irresponsible IORA Friends, I have an angry tale to narrate. Please treat it as a long word of caution from my side against a player in the tourism/hospitality sector which has otherwise made a decent name for itself – especially with its flagship resort at Kaziranga – IORA. It so happened that I with 4 friends (being Bimal Bharali, Bhaskar...

We were lucky to enjoy a two day stay at IORA last week, based on a friend's recommendation, when we visited Assam. The location is off the highway and very nicely set and the flowers in the garden were blooming. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished, the service both at the restaurant and room service was of a...

We had the best experience of eco tourism and cultural tourism thanks to the team at Iora particularly Mr. Palash at the front desk and Mr. Babul who conducts one of Iora’s jeep safaris. Babul has the best set of binoculars, a very good knowledge of the birds and animals and explains and shows you the local culture. We booked...

This is as close to a "full service" hotel as you can get near Kaziranga National Park. The location is convenient to the central zone entrance and midway between the eastern and western. It is pleasantly situated next to a tea estate and has an appealing entrance. The food was surprisingly good with a large variety available. Dining on the...

Lets start with the highlights and work our way down. The best part of this hotel is that it's close to the Kaziranga National Park and World Heritage Area. The park is well-known among birders and the elusive Bengal tiger. The entrance lobby is spacious with lots of kind staff to carry luggage and check you in. The walkways are...

Superb location and very beautiful resort. All amenities are available. Safari jeep booking also happens at the Resort also. Advice to book safari jeeps from hotel itself. They don't charge. User has to pay to jeep owner directly and charges are regulated. Every one will take same. Plan safari in advance. Do undertake elephant safari at central range in morning...

I had visited Kaziranga recently in Feb-2016 and stayed at IORA for 3 days. I had very difficult time and experience with reception staff. I had booked this hotel through Kaziranga Travels, I wanted to book Safari, all along for entire 3 days.. I was being told by reception that you have booked hotel through different travel agent, you need...

Hello there people, I stayed here with a friend of mine in the month of March 2017 for 2 nights. This resort/ retreat feels more like a business hotel, where there is so much noise and disturbance all over the place. The resort is situated in a very location, overlooking tea plantations and forest. Rooms are nice and cozy. Now...

Kaziranga national park is a huge reserve forest teeming with wild life. One horned rhinos, elephants, bisons, various species of deer, wild boar, birds etc. are to be seen in abundance. We were not lucky enough to see tigers. We stayed at Iora and were very impressed with the property. Big rooms with grand balcony, two restaurants, a bar, beautiful...
