Stayed with my wife in hotel calasanz. The room was clean and well presented but the staff were possibly the rudest people I have ever met in my life. On the first night they refused to serve us dinner so we had to go to a local Chinese. I speak fluent Spanish and the manager refused to understand me because...

Stayed for a week (23rd June 2016- 30th June 2016) Welcome was great, room nice and large (twin room requested with a balcony) and the staff were all very friendly. Two downsides: 1: No staff speak English. I understand we are in Spain however it would be nice if there were a little help with directions/things to do or even...

We had booking for this hotel and we arrived 2 a.m by taxi from airport. There was two doors in front line of hotel and the left door was for hotel and it was locked and there was no sign that showed how to reach inside. but we finally ringed hotel and an old guy came and opened the door....

Plus: good place to stay overall, room has all you need to sleep and have good enough comfort (fair price), one bath/toilet with was important for us, hygiene was fine, hotel is located fine, near to trainstation (4minute), restaurant has great food also for vegatarians (best food we had during our whole trip, high quality!!), nice distance to barcelona. Minus:...

My husband and I have traveled Spain for 3 weeks, and stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The room was clean and cozy. The restaurant was unforgettable. We would love to stay longer, but we had to keep moving to learn Spanish in other city. Since we checked out of this hotel, and even now after we came back...

Basically the hotel was awful because of the noise from the street wich was absolutely terrible. We booked a room with silent location and the hotel confirmed it to us, but no. We complained it and they said that they can change the room for us. The room they offered us was approximately 6m2. So tiny you couldn't do nothing...

Stayed there Oct 2013. Great staff, very helpful and friendly. When you see a hotel restaurant jam-packed for lunch and dinner with locals and business people, you know the food's good. And it was! Reasonable room prices, our room was comfortable - we stayed on the third floor. Elevator. Secure parking garage. 3-5 minutes from the train station and in...

This hotel is out of the way and out dated. This hotel was beyond the reach of the metro and you had to take commuter rail or taxi service to get there via public means. This was not great…You have to watch for the last train, which is a problem if you want to stay out late. The room smelled...

We definitely stayed at better Hotels - this Hotel was OLD, and smells OLD and in desperate need of an Upgrade all together. Staff was not helpful or pleasant; our first time dining at the Restaurant the manager tried to short change us with the bill. So Count your money! That alone was a disappointment!! Never again!!

We have stayed in Barcelona before in a four star hotel and this time it was about staying somewhere cheap n cheerful n visiting the places we missed last time. The staff were all very nice n helpful, spoke basic English n the food in the restaurant was good too. Rooms were clean but the toilets were small and the...
