We have stayed in the lakeside cabins many times and always try to go out of peak times, the park is always very clean and has an abundance of wildlife which adds to the serenity. Staff are helpful, you can hire bikes, kayaks and other stuff if you like.

Gorgeous location right on the Durras Beach. Beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife, particularly the kangaroos and birds. The elevated cabins have two big rooms, one with an ensuite and a third room with bunks and a single bed. Great for families. The kitchen is spacious and well appointed. The only drawback is the utensils, and frying pan etc are a... More

Just stayed two night at the lakesea park and I can honestly say it has everything you need in one spot. Accommodation ranges from powered site, cabins , bungalows right up to ensuited mini houses. You have the beach one side and the lake on the other side, fishing and surfing within a stone's throw. Plenty of great walks to... More

Great cabins in a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife and access to the lake or beach with kayak available for hire on the lake. Fireplaces in front of each cabin was a nice surprise as was the plentiful hot water for a warm bath.

Very accommodating management. They seen our booking for a large family and upgraded us to a bigger cabin which normally wouldn't be available for a 1 night stay. No problems parking 2 cars and a boat next to the cabin. Great location on the quiet side of the beach. Thank you :)

Camped for a couple nights in an ensuite site. Large site, clean facilities, loved the peace and tranquility. Plenty of wildlife right outside the tent. Right next to the beach. Will be back for sure!!

We have just had a 4 night stay with our folding camper on one of the ensuite sites. The site was great with a ground covering provided on the site, the ensuite was nicely done out and spotlessly clean. We loved the kangaroos visiting, they were mainly around in the early morning and in the evening all over the sites.... More

We camped here for a few nights and found the park to be great. Excellent facilities and very large campsites, which were well-grassed and provided easy access. The location of the park provided the best of both worlds with the lake and the ocean nearby. There are some bike tracks around through the bush and an easy ride into the... More

Thanks for your great feedback John W! It is fantastic to see you enjoyed the beautiful sights and surrounds of South Durras. It's true there is not a lot out here so shopping prior is a great tip for others, but that's also what makes it so quiet out here! See you on your next journey north. Regards Sam More

Very calm and quiet place but amazing. Not very busy accomodation and so it's clean and the new cottages are good and well equipped. It is important to carry all daily items as the nearest shop is very far and the shop inside the park does have stuff inside but to get fresh you need to be well equipped.

Hi Ayesha thankyou for your fantastic feedback on our park. That's a great tip about the shops as we are 16km from Batemans Bay and the larger supermarkets. We do have basics here at the kiosk though not the fresher perishable items like meat and vegies. There is a great hydroponic fruit and vegetable farm nearby that many of our... More
